Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

You misunderstand. 18.4m is the total coins at the end of mining. He wants to know how many have been mined up till right now. A different question that the one you answered.

Sorry!

I was angry and apparently I didn't read the question correctly

Sorry for the probably obvious question but if you cannot mine FCN on a pool and only way is to solomine, is it really worth mining?
With that I mean, you won't be able to solomine MRO or BCN on your rig as long as you do not own a botnet.

So basically, what does merged mining mean for an average user as long as there are no pools?

Thanks.

I keep having trouble depositing to Poloniex, wallet keeps saying: Error: Wrong Address: For my Payment ID number. I've deposited MRO and QCN without problems, so I know how to use cmd.
Tried generating new Payment ID's few times but no luck, keeps throwing out that error. Any idea?

Guess I'll try deleting blockchain and see if that fixes it.

Hello, I just purchased 0.35 btc worth of QCN and I tried to send them to my new wallet. the problem was that my wallet didn't save and it got accidentically closed, is there any way to regain the wallet? The person that can fix my problems will get 0.05 btc.
