why FCN is frozen on poloniex ??

cheers

Amphibian told me that he wrote to the Poloniex support and is waiting for the answer.

Can somebody update me how the merge-mining is going with Monero or other cryptonotes?
Especially important sub-question:
Do you lose any hashing power because you merge mine Fantomcoin with another cryptonote?
How do you set-up a mining pool with merge-mine support?

No, you won't lose any hashpower because of the merged mining.

There is still no open source pool with merge mining support so you can give it a try and create one yourself. Smiley

BTC use will continue to grow, no doubt about it. And that's great - I love BTC. But FCN (and *CN) coins will continue to grow in use as well. They each meet needs that the other type can't provide.

I don't see how BTC need FCN. And FCN needs BTC just while it's not trading directly without converting it to BTC.

BTC needs alt coins to keep people interested in it IMO

Ooohhhh. CPU only. Hey, this isn't 2011 you know. The cpu farms will rape it. You better make it Gpu friendly, or else it will die.

Sure, but making it a gpu friendly coin would Reach more People anyways, besides i feel the biggest cpu farms would totaly rape the coin on an eartquake scale.

On contrary, it gives the ability to ones, who doesn't have powerful gpu's to mine currency. So, i think that making the coin CPU only is a good idea!

GPU-only coins are hot, that's true. But the hottest without any doubt is bitcoin.

By the time everything is possible. Actually it depends on popularity of currency.

Difficulty went up from 2m to 10m over the last few days. Probably because of GPUs entering the scene.

No CPU mining only. Found some blocks but went down a lot over the last few days.  FCN is such a rare coin with only about 4 coins per block - 1/4 of that of XMR. Price should be sky-high and that is why I leave my CPUs on and stay with the coin.  Price has to come at some point in the future.

I transferred coins to Polo nearly 60 hours ago & they never appeared in my wallet, I lodged a support ticket & shortly after they took it offline.  Coincidence?
