im not trying to fud you guys... but how can so many of you have so much faith in a dev promising the same features no other dev has come through on?  What has he shown you to gain so much trust!  I dont understand... especially after SO MANY anon coins making this same promise... I just feel that if the dev was serious... and had the skills... He would have made wallet then released... Can you imagine that?  i functioning anon wallet release without all the promises?  Would have taken only a few extra days... IDK.. Satoshi didnt do this - I dont know why its acceptable to make these promises all the time that mirror other dev promises who didnt come through....

I guess we are placing our hope in him for the following reasons:

1) He is not some troll.  He has created the coin using his Sr. Member BCT account.
2) He is transparent and communicative.  He seems like he has nothing to hide.  He appears to know what he is doing.
3) He has successfully tested the anon feature with community members on testnet.
4) The potential reward largely outweighs the risk of him scamming us.

How many individuals worldwide would have guessed that some years later that silly thing their computers "generated" for fun would worth so much fiat today? To compare 2009/10 and a coin developer's actions/ train of thought is wrong. I am not saying this to defend this dev ofc, in my case, because I don't have a starting capital, I find XC as an alternative currency hoping to thrive in the near-mid term future, so I can capitalize on my instinct/ present support.

Not sure if this will happen, but if XC actually has a new way of doing anon without the flawed masternode idea, then it'll become a worthy coin for sure.

Good luck, I look forward to reading the code and possibly whitepaper if one is released.

What exactly is flawed about DRK's masternode idea?  I have not been following it closely.  Thanks in advance

Who else is on "the team" that you have referenced?  Have they chimed in on this thread?

I've invested in 70k XC, so I'm rooting for you guys.

Anyone else notice that the dev has not asked for any donations? To me that speaks volumes that he is doing this with his own funds. Let him do it right. I do not want to head into space on a faulty spaceship.  Wink

Devs, I appreciate the effort you all are putting toward this wallet release.

I think a lot of us are expecting a linux wallet release today with working anon transfers.  Can you comment on this?

Thanks in advance.
