unnamed coin based on X11 algo is approaching SYNC *record breaking* network hash rate: 293,440.81 MH/s  we might be entering completely different era

difference there are these "anonymous transactions" I don't suspect any market manipulation , predicted few pages back that we will be in tera hash territory for X11 algo and I dont suspect fpga/asic either rather massive and world wide gig rental GPU rigs if that is so people are spending money outside of exchanges to get to coins, multipool to bitcoin dumps are also under question (why ? if value is % rising n times  over bitcoin and bitcoin transaction log can be traced down to the peer node then straight to the IP of the client)

burring my SYNC deeper underground for I know next steps are *anonymous wallet* *anonymous transactions* and *anonymous mobile clients*

I try to come up with comprehensive steps for noobs

Download latest Windows flavoured wallet from here: https://mega.co.nz/#!E5cjGQBa!C9PV10d7AUBgk1hWoaq3nenRRL24gV8TRk1pk9q15CI

Click Start > Run > %appdata%\sync
Delete everything except wallet.dat (and sync.conf if you already have that saved there)
copy wallet.dat to multiple safe locations as a backup (Wallet.dat holds your coins, you don't want to lose this)
Create a file called Sync.conf (note to windows noobs trying to create a new notepad file, in the explorer window drop down the tool menu, goto Folder Options, goto View Tab, Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" - this is to make sure you don't create a sync.conf.txt file. You want Sync.conf)
Copy and paste below into sync.conf and save (I suggest to change user and pass to something else)

server=1
listen=1
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass
rpcport=24240
addnode=107.170.124.180
addnode=162.243.214.192
addnode=192.241.240.216
addnode=107.170.159.98
addnode=23.226.225.224

Open up TCP port 24240 on your firewall and/or modem/router if you know how and want to be a node (I'm not going to teach you this one)

download the Bootstrap given by CodyF86 from http://d-h.st/j8F
Exract the contents into %appdata%\sync
rename the file bootstrap.dat to blk001.dat if you have problems, otherwise keep it as it is.

Launch the wallet
unlock your wallet if you want to stake (or not)
wait for it to sync any extra blocks since block 8266
If it gets stuck, close the wallet, wait 2 minutes then relaunch. Repeat few times if needed.

You can skip downloading the bootstrap and sync from scratch if you wish.

If you have problems syncing from scratch getting stuck after block 8200, try introducing sync.conf only after you reach block 8200.

Let me know if this is incorrect.

Thx....but how do you do this on Windows 8 when there is no "Start > Run > %appdata%\sync"

C:\Users|<your usernam>\AppData

now this actually found my file. yay! thx Mikey ....and thx to everyone for trying help this old noob-lol. now i can try  changing things and hopefully it works. Fingers and toes crossed.

i have win 8 and in the future if you go to controlpanel/files and folders/ view/ then click show hidden files and folders you will be able to get to your appdata folder under your user alot easier. just click/drive/user/%appdata%/roaming.

In Windows 8.1, you can just rightclick down in the left corner and select "Run" then %appdata%\sync

(GDN) Global Denomination X11 Added to coins we mine!

The Official SYNC multi-pool
Now also mining GDN

You will be mining many different SCRYPT or X11 alt-coins (other algo's which we will trade on various exchanges. We will buy from the revenues SYNC coins back on the exchanges.
This will give even higher value to your already mined coins!

All you need is a VALID Sync wallet address!

Multipoolmining gives you the advantages that more hash-rate means more SYNC coins paid out, instead of just a higher diff and less coins...

You can join our site now at http://multipoolmining.com or when you are already familiar with multipoolmining you can go straight to the SYNC pages at http://sync.multipoolmining.com

Some important figures:
  • Mining with just your SYNC wallet address.
  • Mining at low diff.
  • Push SYNC price even higher on exchanges.
  • Mine always the most profitable coin around.
  • Global Stats.
  • Personal miner stats.
  • Payments straight to your SYNC wallet.

Multipoomining.com gives you
  • Solid cloud based servers on fast SSD discs.
  • DDOS protection on website AND stratum servers (Layer 3, 4, and 7 Protection).
  • Experienced devs.
  • High tech node.js platform.
  • IRC support channel: #multipoolmining
  • Payouts at least every 48 hours, interval is relative lont to achieve best trades for you!
  • 2% fee, to cover trade & server costs.

Hope to see you around soon at http://multipoolmining.com

dumpers manipulating the price... losing money in the process but assisting with distribution. don't worry, once they are done it'll recover.

I am continuing to get wide fluctuations on my hashrate no matter which algo i am on. I know you are working on that tho. So i will continue to hang with you.
