send them to another wallet (if you have a second machine) and just send them straight back again as a whole.

If you do not have a second machine where you could put a wallet on, then just send the amount to yourself in the wallet you now use.

If all of this scares you, then your last resort option would be to send it to an exchange, and then send them back to your wallet. please note mintpal requires 50 confirmations

what should the community do with our wallets at the occurrence of the fork on 2nd June?
should we reserve the balance or lock our wallets? and will the fork cause issues on any coins which are in stake at the time of forking?

bearing in mind confirm times can be quite long (which I like - before anyone accuses me of trolling) there may be some who have split balances at the time of the fork... will this be a problem, or not?

huh, even with the bootstrap file i could not get past block 8702 ... , have 7 connections right now but it just does not go past 8702, any ideas how to fix it, i already restarted like 10 times and left it syncing for a longer periods of time

After that i again got a lot of connections 5+ but got stuck on block 7200. I restarted the wallet a few times, have 12 active connections but wont go past 7200 now

1) download this 8802 bootstrap.dat file

WHY are you all deleted your damn blockchain?
If it gets stuck, close, reopen, wait a bit. Everytime you delete it all its gonna get stuck at the same point again.

It works, just tested it. Make sure URL ends in a picture format, jpg, png, gif. No spaces in tags.

You can upload straight to Imgur from a screen crop. Saves time. Right click icon in tray, Use "capture region" option. Click the bubble that pops up in toolbar once its gone to Imgur, to reveal the URL in the browser. Copy and paste between [img] tags.

Yeah, gyazo does the same. Click icon, highlight whatever you want to screenshot and when you release the left click, it opens a browser window with your pic. just copy that address. I'll try it when my withdraw hits, any minute now =)

Can anyone explain to me the reasoning for the 100% interest from staking, is it compounded daily ? wouldn't it mean that a potential 1000 coins are minted every day, wouldn't that decrease the value ?

It's 100% per year, with 1000 already created by POW.

You can view the total number of coins through the Sync wallet.

Go to Help -> Debug -> Console  and type "getinfo" to display a list of information about the coin. Where it says "moneysupply" is the total number of coins in circulation:

"moneysupply" : 1005.55386730,

You will see only about 5 coins have been minted through POS so far.
