Is it possible to implement a tax where peoles coins get burned for ever. Maybe that can work if its possible.
Um no, pretty sure nobody wants that lol. And what can it work for? That would just incentivize people to not stake their coins, and lead to an insecure network.

Is the POS model really that bad?
I have 5600 HYPER and stake roughly 9 coins, when I stake. I cannot spend the 5600 HYPER, if I want those 9 HYPER coins, which limits the supply. Indeed, look at Bittrex today 217658.293 HYPER are being sold and 1818163.925 HYPER are trying to be bought.
What this means: total HYPER supply 5,779,584-217658.293 (what is being sold right now)=5561925.707 (that might be staking or gathering dust, who knows, but it is not on the market).
It is not an oversupply issue, right now, I think, but a demand/interest issue in the coin.
If there is doubt about my assertion look at some other gaming coins such as GMC. GMC mint around 720000 coins a month under perfect conditions and they have around 2000000 coins for sale on Polo and Trex combined.
HYPER, currently mints around 290000 to 390000 at best guess (5,779,584*.05=288979.2). I know I allowed for a wide swing up to 390000 (someone might say I am not properly factoring that compounding daily thing, who knows) but why not go to the extreme on minting since it is clearly out of control, right? Conversely, if we look at the current supply divided by 23 moths the HYPER's age, roughly, 5,779,584/23=251286.2608695652 which is about how many coins have been minted since the genesis block.
I realize that as time progresses HYPER will mint more coins, in general, but we do not have 50 million coins in circulation right now, which is my point. Less supply is what the POS reduction would do but would it increase the coin's value? I tend to think that it is not an out of control POS model, which will reduce the coin supply in May of 2019 to 10% a year.... and the 2% reduction 5 years after that.
No sarcasm, intended on this last part or any part before, either... and I really would appreciate someone pointing out the bad that I am missing with the coin's POS.... My major issue is with the wallet, frankly, not the rewards.

even if it gets dumped, the community is strong and working hard to make this coin widely used. So it will bounce back if a dump occurs.

Is the POS model really that bad? ..
PoS model suffers from one rather large issue. Traders don't stake ... and staking takes patience. Far too many PoS coins linger on exchanges providing income for the exchange itself to sell regardless of the price, since it cost them nothing. Patient whales like to accumulate and stake, with little regard to the markets over a short term, some even welcome price drops as it buys them more % of the market for less. Saying that, coins are on a schedule and right now PoW coins are being pushed up before LTC rise ... but before LTC, tradition dictates a POS coin rise. Big boys of PoS are going to lead the way, PeerCoin from $10mil cap, Black Coin from $2.5mil and MINT (started already) from $1mil.

Anyone playing with low market cap coins should know the word "volatility" very well. This coin has seen plenty of it. It's plenty fun as a result as we keep building. Don't forget Jon Fitch in Las Vegas this Saturday! Hope you all get to watch it on NBC Sports Net. i already put it on my schedule to watch it, I would really like to see HYPER on his trousers.

It will also mention Jon Fitch's campaign for MMA fighter's rights. Great to see a lot of discussion about HYPER's future here in the thread. I will make the Electrum wallet fund-raiser official very soon. More big news coming soon as well.

I believe the wallet issue should be top priority. The sync process in itself takes a very long time and can be discouraging or bad for new users, especially if they have a limited internet usage. That accompanied by the huge ram usage (mine was almost at 1GB) is a big turnoff for people. A good example, my wallet froze on me earlier while sending payments out for DKV. I waited 10 minutes for it to respond before I killed the process. It's now been an hour since I restarted the wallet and it still hasn't loaded up even though it is the only thing running. I'm a big supporter of HYPER, but it keeps putting a huge strain on my computer's resources and hardware.

Is hyper planning on a partnership with Game bet? It would be good to try and cement in a partnership with them now before they get big.

Agreed. It was the first crypto I was ever exposed to so I didn't realise how much quicker most other wallets are until later, and I was already a HYPER supporter by then - not sure what my reaction would have been if I'd already been used to the much faster wallets of other altcoins when I met HYPER.

Jon Fitch has been interviewed by Amanda from The Daily Decrypt. No specified air time has been set or if it will be aired at all. All I know is that he did an interview today.
Cool. I hope that is uploaded. I would like to see it

Such bullshit. That chick was not talking to Jon, some other dude was, and now seeing them cut to her laughing and all that. I give this video two big thumbs down. I think we should promote the original video that this came from and bury this one so no one sees it.

Johnson if you have a problem with the Daily Decrypt. It does seem familiar but nice press for Hyper regardless. Maybe she is going to put out another video.
