Thanks  If it doesn't the miners have missed out, that is all. HYPER is a long term project myself and other members of the team are serious about. I am moving as fast as I can to establish all of the above asap, and I will post updates as soon as I have them. I did alright. I sold what I mined, then bought them all back at 1/3rd the price. lol Very good luck trying to get your money back, lol. This coin is almost dead. Nobody has any trust and confidence in Hyper anymore. DEV needs to do something now or it will be too late soon. I have supported Hyper through the last few days, but the DEV is still sitting on his hands, and that is not helping anything. I cannot afford to buy anymore coins with this downfall going out of control. Yes something needs to be done immediately. But stepping back from it all makes me think that the dev is not sitting on his hands at all. I think his hands are tied. He is in a damned if he does and damned if he doesn't situation because of public trust. I think the coin is in a very dire situation that should have been corrected already. With that said, I think the dev should throw caution to the wind and do whatever is necessary to raise some btc immediately to jump start the pricing again. A few btc will be needed to do this. Buying some hyper here and there to try and prevent the slide will not work. Even a few btc investment might not work at this point because of the time lost waiting and public perception. I do hope it works though and am willing to put up some btc to see it happen. I hope others are as well. |

Agreed. NO ONE wants to touch this coin right now. Too much FUD and the back and forth name calling completely ruined what little credibility the coin was establishing. I, like many others here, want this coin to succeed but I just don't think the team involved has a strong enough plan in place to make it happen. Feels like amateur hour here.

Nope, this is MUCH more than a miner sell-off. Anyone that has been around awhile would know that. Because of all the FUD, there is no confidence in this coin. I have bought up TONS off Bittrex. So I might crash and burn with Hyper, hopefully not. I agree that this is not all a miner sell off and that a correction has to happen while pow is still in effect so that more coins can get into more hands organically. Without a nice distribution the community will shrink. We need to work together in a coordinated fashion with our buying of coins I believe. At this point I don't even want to wait for escrow because the current situation needs immediate attention. I trust the dev enough to hold and manage funds for some sort of temporary and immediate fix. After that, then there will be time to use escrow and set everything up properly. |

All this is happening ASAP After spending most of today consulting with members of the HYPER community, and other members of this forum who have kindly offered their advice, this is what's going to happen within the next 1-3 days regarding premine transparency: 1. 500 000 HYPER of the premine will be given to a trusted member of bitcointalk to hold in escrow for at least 1 month, or until the community trusts me to manage the fund. It can be held for longer than a month if the community agrees. This is the the fund for the core HYPER space MMO development. The escrow will have to approve any deductions from the principal of this fund. Deductions will only take place to fund the MMO development and pay people who are contributing. The wallet will be opened daily so coins can compound increasing the value of the fund. 2. Two other funds will be set up and managed by myself: 1 (ONE) fund for HYPER marketing, and 1 (ONE) fund for MMO outreach purposes and bounties for getting developers to develop plugins so HYPER can be integrated into existing gameworlds etc. Again this fund will stake daily and any deductions from the principal will be shown and explained. Fund activity for all 3 funds will be entirely transparent via the HYPER blockchain. The community will be able to see the balances of these funds at any time. The remaining HYPER will be used for general bounties, until HYPER has reached the market cap I am gunning for (a very high one). When enough bounties have been paid, these bounty funds will be rolled over into one of the other funds.
This will all take place within 1-3 days. I'm waiting to hear back from a few hero members here regarding management of the 500 000 principal. 3. An IPO is still being considered to raise BTC for the Market Stabilization fund, if this does go ahead the market fund will be BTC only, there is no point dedicating HYPER to the Market Fund, and selling HYPER on the exchange right now as this will only lower the price. If the IPO and fund go ahead, then the BTC will be used to hold HYPER value stable and increase the price on the exchanges. HYPER which is purchased as a result of the funds activity will be rolled over into one of the other funds for staking, until HYPER exchange rate and volume can absorb strategic selling of small amounts to increase BTC in the fund for more market making. Until this is possible the HYPER purchased will be kept in one of the other funds so it can stake with those coins. Of course, if we do go ahead this the IPO will take place through a trusted member. To clear up any misunderstanding: the Market Stabilization Fund was always only going to be established after HYPER PoW stage is over. Thanks guys, I will be providing further updates over the next few days as we move forward, all of these initiatives ( except the IPO - it is still being decided by myself and other members of the community if the IPO is a good idea), will launch within the next 1-3 days. The idea that someone who has more posts or has been a member of bct longer and that automatically makes them a more trusted human being is just not true. There has not ever been a coin created whose success was determined solely on it being backed by a well known/trusted community member. |

There has not ever been a coin created whose success was determined solely on it being backed by a well known/trusted community member. Posts? No, not even that. The kind of people who have 50 rep points and are so unbelievably trusted that if you even dare to call them untrustworthy you get shunned. (Note, people who make me look like an annoying stain on a plate) |

That will be too late. Look at the little bit of hash left on mining this coin. It is not worth it for miners to continue mining this coin at these low rates, and they are all leaving as you can see. So what is your plan once all the miners are gone? All the buyers have already left. I have seen many coins die, and this coin is only a few steps away.
Either DO SOMETHING NOW, or pack it up and leave. Simple as that. Sorry to sound so rude, but it's the truth and needs to be said, hoping you listen and act on it.

Dude i know what your saying but chill, the only reason the price is this low is because of that dumb argument. Who cares if there's not millions of people mining it,although there's still a fair amount. The ones that are are probably interested in the project and will stay,because like you said its not really profitable at these prices. If your only here to make quick money then you'v picked the wrong coin im affraid, that was clear from the outset. The coin is still young and will grow soon enough. |

The issue regarding "trust level" in this coin's history has all been lumped together with posts and member level. This was caused by someone (we all know who) piping off that their trust level was used to gain the trust of the community and that his trust and reputation were harmed. When his trust level is "0". You on the other hand do actually have a trust level. Gaining an escrow of 50+ trust would be a feat I believe, but maybe someone has an inside tract our we need to just use a lower level trust at the moment. Again, no offense was meant to you. Too much passion sometimes  |

There is less than 6 days to take advantage of making this a profitable coin to mine thus attracting much needed support and community. We are listed on a mining calculator that would greatly benefit us if we took advantage of that when it is even possible. Once we go to pos that will not be tool in our arsenal anymore, so use it while you can. Maybe they are not looking to make a quick buck, but are instead trying to keep the price stable themselves and not lose their shirt doing it. I know I was purchasing in the 5000 range as it slid down hoping to make it stop. You even have members here saying how they dumped and bought back in at a third of the price. That might be a great move on their part and I am sure many have done it, but that just leads to a smaller more isolated community with bigger bags. That would have had to have been a serious investor when the prices were 10x+ higher. Or most likely would have been made up of many more small to medium investors thus growing the community. The higher the price the larger and more diverse the community will be. I'm not up on my coin history, but what coins are out there that are strictly pos and are gaining users hand over fist without an airdrop? When I say "asap" today, that is just a nice way of saying yesterday or should have already been done. The longer we wait the harder it is to get the price back up. |

It's past 3 am where I am, and I've been at it for the last 14 hours. Tomorrow, the outlined action plan will begin regarding premine transparency. Extensive marketing of HYPER is already going on in other ways too, such as another PR campaign which begins tomorrow. I think that you can use the premine coins to compensate the losses, people must have the coins in their wallets, and then the premine coins will be distributed proporcionally like in POS. In this way, the people who are still trusting in this coin , will reduce losses.

If he did that, there would be no more pre-mine to fund the MMO, pay out bounties, get marketing, and so on. And more people would sell due to the influx of immediate supply. The one thing all investors in cryptocurrency needs is patience. People patient enough to hold BitCoin from 10 cents to over $1000 made big money. It of course took a couple of years, but in the end, it did happen. Same with HYPER; this coin is barely a week old, and it is only reasonable that prices are low. As HYPER is traded from hand to hand, it allows the miners to sell and distribute their HYPER to the general public. Remember; everything starts from the bottom, and then it goes up. The journey of 10,000 miles starts with a single step. Hyper is worth barely a penny at the moment- an investor could just hop in now, and use 25 BTC to purchase all HYPER in current circulation (not including the pre-mine). I have to admit, HYPER is at it's all time low. If it goes any lower, it will actually introduce more and more people to buy it. Have patience, and you most likely will be rewarded for it. |

This guy is right. 1 BTC can buy this coin back to 4k satoshi's. Prices are extremely low, but there aren't that many sell-orders. With just a few BTC price can recover, if the devs realize what they aim to realize price will go up. If they don't then all investments are lost.. thats called investing. I have the feeling that the devs are trying everything within their reach to make this project happen and i thank them for their efforts! |
