Ok so basically each user will have to validated by an Admin and the newbies will have their own section where they can post until they reach 5 posts. Sounds good?

Sounds terrible. Like a private members club. And you want us to donate for this privilege? Take money off us, and edit any post you disagree with?

Yeah, right.

Sounds terrible. Like a private members club.

If they want to moderate their own website's forum that seems fine to me - As long as freedom of speech is maintained here. This is will continue to be the main port of call for both positive and negative statements about the coin, as it should be.

You cannot simply prevent others from speaking their mind on a coin just because it harms your vested interest (e.g. you are holding coins you are trying to hype up and sell for a higher price and someone is making that harder for you to do by speaking negatively).

As long as this thread is a free speech zone the separate forum is no big deal. Anyone will be able to clearly see that its members will obviously be firmly attached to the coin and will take what they say with a grain of salt.

The new forum will be designed to listen to legitmate concerns and answer them. I will only moderate spam/fud. The users that get banned will be chosen by the community through the karma system unless it turns out that their questions where legitimate.

From here I only have deleted fud/spam.

Good to see some big buys - I think we will probably test 0.003 within the next 24 hours - a period of stability like this without anyone dumping amounts the market can't soak up is a sure sign of an impending 'leg up'. While I think we will heavily rely on the failure of Darkcoin to get anywhere near their value I do think this coin is probably 2 or 3 times lower than it probably should be judging by the relatively stable price Darkcoin is holding.

If I had to put money on Darkcoin or XC having regard to which one is more likely to double in price I would put that money on XC at this point in time.

It's a market that has shown EXTREME reliance on good or bad news from the dev. It's more likely that the next news you hear from the dev will be positive and Id expect the push to 0.03 to occur almost right away.

Buy in now before the walls get moved up - its a good buy right now and I doubt that wall is going to be removed - if it does disappear for a moment it is far more likely to be because the market is pushing upwards and it therefore needs to be moved up a level.

I also agree

I've seen that. I've also seen people asking awkward questions, questions which have not yet received a satisfactory answer, have their posts deleted, and the subject brushed aside.

Will the new forum be like this?

the price is up and down.i have lost so much btc on the xc.do you have some other plans in the future.
Peer Review:

Hello.

I was invited to check the implementation of XC compared to FedoraCoin's codebase in order to find possible similarities between them.
First of all, I visited FedoraCoin's repository and checked the specific file mentioned (mixerann.cpp and the header file).
Then, I was invited to Developer's station with a Teamviewer session and saw the code that implements the specific feature.

The code is in no way similar between the two coins.
But, I believe that one must trusts his own eyes (and compiler). Just download the source code from FedoraCoin and create a working wallet that has all the features of XC enabled. That would prove whether the claim is correct or false.

Now, I do not know who claimed that Fedora and XC share the same codebase. If someone claims that some principles are the same, then I'm afraid that someone hasn't heard of Bitcoin and the blockchain concept (or the transaction concept, or the pubkey->wallet address concept, or... the list goes on forever).

Announcement!

As promised, the encrypted messaging update will be released within ten to fourteen days. Included in this release is a one of a kind robust encrypted messaging system that is a first in crypto-currency. This system is a framework or protocol within the wallet that allows applications to be built upon it as needed by users. The release will have applications already built upon this framework, these applications will position CINNI as the leading crypto-currency in point of sale systems for both eCommerce and brick and mortar stores. (screen shots of the updated GUI will be available this week)

Included in this release are essential tools to conduct secure encrypted point of sale commerce and are all a first in crypto currency:

1) Encrypted messaging system in client with wallet to wallet messaging platform.
2) Encrypted order form sent wallet to wallet.
3) Encrypted invoice generation sent wallet to wallet.
4) Encrypted receipt delivery sent wallet to wallet.

Future release...est 3-6 weeks.

1) Combined wallet for both BTC and CINNI with multiple currency exchange rate support. (this will be the first ever in crypto-currency and will assist point of sale)
2) In wallet chat room.

Future release...est 4-14 weeks. (With this release we will become the best option in crypto-currency as a point of sale solution)

1) A second wallet designed as a "retail wallet" in addition to the "consumer wallet". This wallet is designed specifically for retail eCommerce businesses and is built on the encrypted messaging platform. (this will be the first "retail wallet" ever in crypto-currency and will lead to rapid merchant adoption of CINNI as a form of payment.)
2) Inventory management system for tracking supply in wallet client.
3) SKU number assignment with SKU pricing in wallet client.
4) Full receivables and reporting features in wallet client.
5) QR code generation in wallet client.
6) Export option into accounting software (i.e. Quickbooks, ect.)

Future release...est 12-18 weeks. (This will be an update on the routing of encrypted messages)

1) Optional anonymity features for "consumer wallet". This would allow for anonymity or (dark) send features similar to DRK coin or XC coin system.
2) Optional anonymization of data and messages. This system will use "messagenodes" combined with "masternodes" in the dark send feature. The "messagenodes" and "masternodes" will be paid in transaction fees and will be required to provide "proof of stake" by holding CINNI in wallets developing coin age (more details will follow).

Darkcoin and XC coin only anonymize half of the transaction (the actual transfer of payment). The communication between buyer and seller is left wide open and can be intercepted by a third party. There are ways to mitigate the communication risk however the communication risk to anonymity remains more significant than the payment risk to anonymity. The system being developed at CINNI will use the encrypted messaging system to allow CINNI to become the first ever completely anonymous transaction system.

Cinni dev is claiming both xc and drk are not truly anonymous.  Could ATCSecure please address these points next time he is here.  I am sure he has a retort/solution.

It looks like there will be a race on to implement point of sale features.

I think that is exactly the sort of reply NewWorldCoiner is talking about - We know he never was and is not part of the official team, that is not the concern or the question. People want to know the deal is between he and yourself - not what he ISN'T, rather what he IS and what he has done that warranted the payment.

Even worse than uncertainty in a market is having points of concern actively avoided. It is not acceptable to simply call those who ask these questions 'troublemakers'. If certain questions are 'not allowed' to be asked then the market will respond accordingly and it wont be pretty.

Clear the air and let us move on - but a simple "that's already been answered" won't fly.

How can you lose money from the price going up and down? Better not to buy after a large pump. Best time to buy is after a large dump when everyone things it is either `risky` or cheap.

Cinni dev is claiming both xc and drk are not truly anonymous.  Could ATCSecure please address these points next time he is here.  I am sure he has a retort/solution.

It looks like there will be a race on to implement point of sale features.
i'm fairly sure we are getting the encrypted messaging system as well, bit of a stab in the back though to say we are not truly annon when he seamed so nice and helpful..

Yes, and we will trust a dev that says "that product is not good, my product is better..."

Teka why don't ou put in thread title the date of latest mandatory update? Maybe it would help for more people to catch on and update their wallets
