Things that make you go hmmm... this has been brought up several times and yes there is a plan for this

Excellent. I'm glad to hear that. I really think it would get a lot of new people interested in XC. It seems like once a week a topic gets high voted in r/bitcoin about coin mixing/coinshuffle/anonymity

Enjoy your weekend off  Smiley

Ok so then ATM withdrawal will be possible with any type of coin on the Blocknet using ATM's accepting XC(XXX coin converted to XC then sent to ATM).

I don't know about you but I think this is a major deal and should be advertised as part of the Blocknet rollout.

Will this(can this?) be automated through the Blocknet?  This would be a big thing in my opinion.  It gives XXX coin to fiat currency for any coin in the Blocknet.  This is a fond wet dream for any coin to have, and takes being in the Blocknet to a whole new level.  And OMG what a selling feature that would be.

Question for then Devs.

With XC current able to be used at ATM to withdraw funds, with Blocknet will people be able to use any coin connected to the Blocknet to directly withraw from those ATM's.

eg.  Coin XXX is on the Blocknet, they send XXX coins through the Blocknet and they get converted to be used with the ATM.

They'll be able to buy XC with their coins and withdraw XC from an ATM.

= More buy pressure for XC. :-)

Yes an automated exchange of coins is a central function of the Blocknet, since every service will be paid for by exchanging one kind of coin for another.

To give an example:
- XC user pays to use XYZ's DNS service
- XC user pays in XC but the XYZ nodes only accept XYZcoin.
- XC is automatically exchanged for XYZ on the decentralised exchange without the user's direct involvement
- and the service is rendered.

Honestly I think it would be pretty awesome to see XC integrate bitcoin mixer transactions into the XMIXER system so bitcoin users can have trustless anon transactions through blocknet or XC somehow. saw this thread and it made me think that would definitely be a feature that would put XC above most if not all Altcoins http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2jm2w7/psa_mixers_are_not_a_practical_option_for/

Something like that would instantly boost XC's use-ability far beyond most good coins

Glad to hear you say that! It would be pretty badass to have something in XC wallet where we could send btc to get mixed anonymously for a fee. A feature like this would be huge and XC is in the perfect place to be able to make it happen. hmmmm is very right....

Maybe I'm missing something but why would someone be enticed to buy XC if they can make use of XC's anonymous technology without having to buy/use XC?

This was a deliberate dump across exchanges.  It was not a slow downward trend by sell pressure, it was a dump and then sell orders slowly started to follow as there was such a large gap between books.  Not much independent sellers just large wallets dumping with purpose.  More XC for new and/or smaller investors to scoop up and spread the coins around some more.  Good overall for the coin I think.

I have a theory that MP has been selling all of our XC hence the recent price drop... Angry

I thought about that too, but wouldn't that be reflected by a drop in the holdings of some of the top wallets on the rich list ?

Because XC nodes get the revenue.

And because everyone gets to see XC's tech winning (and therefore they start to use/buy XC).

(After all, why pay a Blocknet fee when you can avoid it by just using XC?)

Xmixers need a large userbase.

XC's market needs large volume.

XChat becomes more practical when everyone uses it.

ATMs integrate XC when lots of people want it.

BitPay et al. will be interested in XC as the leading Blocknet coin.

I can go on...

The Blocknet is the biggest thing to happen to XC, ever.

Well what if the XMIXERS that we were running for anon transactions got fees from people using the XC network for trustless anon btc transactions. Thousands of btc users still need better anon solutions than the coinmixers they currently use or tolerate. The amount of traffic that would generate i think would definitely entice people to buy XC to run their own XMIXER for the fees generated from people sending btc anonymously. I have nothing but love XC and think something like that would easily bring hundreds of more users if not more in the short term, if it could be done, it would gather some huge attention from the whole bitcoin community...

Dammit, my XC are still being held hostage at Mintpal...

Are there people here who managed to withdraw them already ??
Getting a bit nervous...
I got my XC's while V2 was still alive.
Then received all my DRK's and VRC 's from their special withdraw page.
BTC's are still hostaged ...

If someone likes to test xchat - give me a ring... info in the sig

I got mine back. Did you fill out the simple form they put up when you log in?

If I may ask, how much is still missing?

YEAH !!! Got them back finally  Cheesy

I was missing a little over 400 XC. And the first few days I couldn't enter any adresses for withdrawal in the fields of the form.
This because I saved a message in the text fields first and after you do that, it's not possible to enter any of the fields anymore.
So I was sweating a little bit, but then this morning I could enter the adresses again and I just received my XC.

Now I'm only still missing my 37000 Faircoins...I wonder if they will be able to restore those ever.
Has been a problem since V2 was launched

As stated above I also just received my XC's.
Now only praying to see my Faircoins again.

And I also still had 10000 Asiacoins on Mintpal, but I left those as a tip... lol  Grin

THE XC3NHZXST is XC, NHZ and XST. I've realised its hard to see so the never version has been tweaked to reflect that.
