If you want quick BTC without taking much bank information and waiting for SEPA you can use Virvox its not the cheapest way but its quick.
It use exchange through SSL the money of second life that you can buy with paypal or credit card and after you can exchange SSL/BTC and transfert fund directly to Wallet,Bittrex or other exchange.
You need to make some small transaction at the start for increase your max deposit of cash, the max is 300€ by day at the end
It takes 2 days to confirm with Paypal and the fees are really high.

Also would be grateful for a non tech explanation of zero knowledge!?!? What's it about? And why is it or not so good? Want to work out what it has over XC tech!
Zero-knowledge proofs allow you to prove to someone that you've paid them without revealing your address. It's a powerful technology, but: - it's not decentralised because a server is required for one stage of the process - it bloats enormously. - it's new, untested, and therefore potentially insecure cryptography. So it's not really implementable, practically speaking, at this stage. Furthermore it's not a flexible technology. It's a total blackout. This is not particularly useful in the real world. For example: - you buy something and need to prove to the seller that you've paid and not somebody else - if the seller denies having received payment, you'll need to prove to the cops (or something) that you paid - ZK doesn't conceal the amount sent, so if you donate money to a charity or political campaign, you won't be able to conceal that the charity received x amount from someone. ZK is, ironically, only useful between people who trust each other. :-) Plus, you'll be putting the anonymity mix into the blockchain, which means that when the encryption is cracked (breakthroughs in mathematics, quantum computers - this could take 20 years, or 1 year, or qc might already exist but we wouldn't know about it), the whole blockchain will be deanonymized.

Good point. For the same reason, XChat doesn't use the blockchain. Imagine it did, and preserved your private messages for perpetuity? Ha ha. Messy.

Synechist- Regarding the decentralised exchange- I see its moved up the timeline! Good news! It was down as XCs but now as Blocknet? Where does XC stand? Do the fees go to xc owners or to owners of the blocknet ITO? Thanks in advance! Reason I ask - I don't want to sell xc for the Blocknet ITO! And was always looking forward to the XC decentralised exchange! Yes, important question about the fees. Blocknet is kind of a double edged sword for XC holders.

And was always looking forward to the XC decentralised exchange! Yes, important question about the fees. Blocknet is kind of a double edged sword for XC holders. The Blocknet is not a double edged sword in any respect. Did you read my response to ms983845's post? I'll quote it here for convenience: Yeah, I think we're all eagerly awaiting a decentralised exchange. It's very important due to the conduct of Mintpal et al.
On the other hand Dan's workload is extremely high with existing XC tech, and he'll be busy up until Rev 3 perfecting XC's existing features. This is why decentralised exchange was a post-Rev 3 thing until now.
But fortunately the Blocknet needs a decentralised exchange as one of its two core features (the other being the XBridge protocol). This means that the Blocknet's funding will go toward developing one asap.
So this means that the Blocknet will deliver a decentralised exchange early on. Best of all it won't be a ghost town populated by a few XC supporters - it'll be supported by all the participating coins! Liquidity is all-important for an exchange, and that's what the Blocknet can deliver.
Big news, really.

The Blocknet is not a double edged sword in any respect. Did you read my response to ms983845's post? To clarify: a decentralised exchange would not be a revenue-generating service for XCurrency. You'd make a trade directly with another node. The fee would go to the market maker. Therefore you'd only get "paid" if you trade. That's the whole point: decentralisation. Setting it up so that Xnodes do it on behalf of other Xnodes is unnecessary since there'd always be a maker and a taker.

No, there's no XC code for an exchange. It'll have to be all-new code. NHZ has an asset exchange. It's useful but it can't trade other currencies. NHZ's asset exchange allows you to register assets on it and accept payments for them. But you can't, for example, sell XC on it.

I can't wait for that. It's a massive part of XC's real-world plan. BTW it's likely to be an XC brain wallet tied to a card balance. Super secure. Add in-app XC purchases with fiat to the mix, and we're all set to go mainstream.

Ok sounds like thats gonna be a lot of work. I fully trust the devs to be able to deliver that, especially because there is so much open source code out there. On another topic, i'd like to invite our dutch members to join in to following topic on XC talk: http://xctalk.com/index.php?/topic/220-nederlands-platform/Let's see if we can do some more grass roots community awareness growths here

:-) Thanks for the explanation! Not sure the hype about zero knowledge? If it has so many weaknesses.

I have a question about the shares of XC incorporated and the shares of Blocknet.
If you hold for example 20 shares and those 20 shares make up 5% of the total amount of shares, would that mean that you get 5% of the profit? If so, how would you be paid something like an asset exchange or something?

Yes, payouts ("dividends", perhaps) would be via an asset exchange like NHZ's. This will be the case for both Blocknet shares and XC Inc shares.
