Hello. Does anyone have an explication for such an enormous price drop? The only way i can think of would be an investor's fear that 2.5K BTC ito will possibly raze xc's singularity or diminish its reputation. Seems like among all the other coins applied for participation in blocknet only xc keeps losing in its value. Just look at trex charts: blocknet has been announced 10-20.2014 and next day 10-21.2014 a huge price drop occurred 0.00103733-0.00069996.
You have discovered Hot water Nope, i've discovered why warm water (XC) freezes faster than cooler water (Apex, SSD, NHZ and so on) It's ALL about time frames. XC had been holding very good prior to this. BC/VRC/DRK gosh even NXT have lost well over 50% since june/july. People have been more patient with XC as it's a top premium coin in most people's mind bust lack of interest in the alts had to hurt this one as well. |

Arlyn, perhaps one of the simplest ways of doing the exchange rate algorithm and one which would probably keep all coin holders happy might be to simply use the rate based upon the highest Currency:Bitcoin ratio it has had since the ITO announcement up to the actual ITO date, and keep it consistent for the period. This seems to benefit everyone, my guess is you will end up with more coins overall also.
Interesting suggestion. Thanks. :-) When will these finer details on ITO process be published? ITO is less than 24 hours away... I would think this is important information for investors as they consider whether or not to buy. Yes what battbot said. We need more details for the ITO. I'm on the sidelines waiting for further information. |

What is the best way of getting my xc off mintpal? Am I fucked?
Also, reason for recent price decline? chances of it increasing again?

People have been more patient with XC as it's a top premium coin in most people's mind bust lack of interest in the alts had to hurt this one as well. my personal view : i always thougth xc was a solid coin and the devs prooved that they were good bla bla ... so i was holding ... but now ... this blocknet stuff totally pisses me off, instead of adding more value to xc they are working on other projects clearly to make some money.in fact i dont even get why its on the roadmap.they could also write other code viewings on that roadmap. the pure statement its good for xc has been proven wrong in the last days many holders were pissed like me -> sold -> price drops what else should it be  Umm... Dan yesterday fixed issue with Mac wallet and today released a test of the android app. What more do you want? |
