Okay we have another one temporary spike up. 40cents should be limit for this upmove, however "wave of fools or robots" can play up to 50cents mark (in JPY figures 42JPY and 53JPY). Last time i've catched that dip (not all but many of my pending orders@ Zaif was executed. Now i plan to retake my whole capital @ 40cents and the profit will stay in XEMs - in this way i have no costs from buying this XEMs, they will be sold in the future bubble maybe for 5 maybe 10$;). Now after this shortlived pump i will wait with capital retaken to another one dip - if market will be so kind to do so, if the market however will not dip i will be also happy with my XEMs that i have from dumpers activity.
\\edit as i see 35cents is a resistance area i get my money here @37JPY and take my XEMs to wallet out of exchange. However spike up is still possible, but there is 99% probability, that will be shortlived, so beware! Of course if You are longterm holder You can simply ignore this call;)
ormin79, watching your tradingview charts. I like it, but you have a weird approach to this. You said that xem shines 50$-60$, then you drop xem and talk about the future of a huge bubble around 5$-10$ (maybe!). Decide what exactly you believe in) The answer should be simple one word - "possibility". This levels drawed by me are possibilities, they are changeable as long as new data (price fluctuations) are produced every day, week, month ( there are two types of trading approach: longterm - prefered by me, and intraday - heartache guaranteed as i say sometimes). Longterm 5-10$ could be only a stage and setback point before the bigger upmove - one huge condition to hit that target (i mean even 50-60 or more $) - cryptomarket must be in "full bullrun" and on the other side fundamentals for NEM need to be strong (that is in hands of Foundation and proper marketing and as result - adoption), even much stronger than godfathers bitcoin and ethereum and ripple combined together. And of course, besides price values, timing may be diffrent than that on my charts - i am not a prophet nor marketmaker for XEM. Other thing is probably my other activities will cause that my publications @TV will be rare, but that's good - rollercoaster caused by market fluctuations is not good for heart and rest of body, You felt that too probably in my publications. Personally i'm exhausted. I will wait of course for one more dip - i cannot stop to accumulate more cheaper XEMs - but this dip is not guaranteed - it is only possibility. Cheers;)

It looks like the hacker has been dumping XEM, but is nearly out. It's all getting bought up. Huge volumes have moved from richlist, and eventually into Bittrex and other exchanges in last 24hrs. And while I was typing this, I paused to check again, and it looks like ALL the hackers XEM has moved into exchanges. Once we finish chewing through his sell walls, we should have clear skies again. HODL Gang! Only one thing: who does the chewing, while we hodl ? thats an oxymoron

Only one thing: who does the chewing, while we hodl ? thats an oxymoron The world doesn't revolve around this tiny forum. Lots of people are chewing it up. Like pacman. "NEM NEM NEM NEM NEM" So far 24hr volume is: $325,687,000 Just found out hacker still has around 90mil XEM remaining. At current price, that is 10% of the todays volume. - And keep in mind most of that volume was in 12 hours. And large portions of it within minutes. I probably shouldn't scream hodl, but at this point, it's very hard to scalp, and it's anybodies guess what happens next. It would take just one big player to drop a buy bomb, and the race would be on again. The atmosphere is charged! The market was surprisingly resilient thru this though! We lost 3-4cents while millions of XEM were being dumped. Once hacker is dried up for sure, it's likely we'll gain some ground again. Will probably be bumpy tho, as the day traders do their thing.

If you take a look at the list then you'll see that coins which will be delisted are really low-volume coins ranked 100 and above on coinmarketcap. NEM is a top twenty coin. Such projects are delisted very seldom.

They say it is one of the fastest coins with 4000 Transactions per second for Catapult. There is a channel on YouTube called InsideNem that explains the new developments.

The way this message is told, it seems to me that law enforcement is closing in on someone, or even arrested someone in their investigations. Very possible, the tagging did serve some purpose with this statement. "...provided law enforcement with actionable information."I'm sure Coincheck will never give up in trying to track the hacker(s) ...

This company (DarcMatter) seems well connected & is using the NEM blockchain. https://dmc.darcmatter.com/Has been in the works for awhile, but this year product will launch if you look at their roadmap. From their whitepaper: 6.2Why NEM Blockchain?
NEM has a very strong team of developers and a great vision which was driven around the development of the underlying technology and its efficient use rather than marketing and hype generation as with many other blockchain platforms. There was a focus on real-world use cases and the generation of the underlying value from the real-build out of platforms and economics.
Furthermore, there has been significant work that has been put into making the NEM blockchain accessible and modifiable in a much more scalable fashion than others including Ethereum. And while the technology is very well designed for platform building for secure transactions such as alternative investments, it also utilizes significantly less power in its harvesting process as opposed to high energy use from mining of other cryptocurrencies. That's good to know, and also quite expected. NEM is a widely distributed crypto and there is no central control for the NEM blockchain. It is similar to ETH in that way (today that is). I would think the recent SEC developments should not affect NEM at all. In fact, I'd say it would be one of the last 5-10 cryptos affected by the SEC developments. It is also big enough that the exchanges shouldn't remove NEM just for being extra safe. This places NEM in a good spot.

Yeah, it's been posted a few times, but this is a great list, and always good to be reminded of the actual projects being built on NEM than the complaining about the price that seems to dominate more. Do you have a few projects in this list that you like the most?

I really hope the blood loss stops quickly. Nobody appears interested in the actual coin, volume level is a horrible. not many tend to be buying or selling and zero buzz or attention it seems.

The way this message is told, it seems to me that law enforcement is closing in on someone, or even arrested someone in their investigations. That's how I read it too--that the tagging in some way led them to a strong suspect. I'm looking forward to the hacking fallout being behind us. The hacker didn't just steal from Coincheck; he stole from all of us who hold NEM.

The hacker is still moving XEM from account to account, and eventually into exchanges - primarily onto Bittrex. He probably has stolen identities and whatever else necessary to create the accounts. Pretty good sign that he hasn't been busted. Last I checked there was 70mil XEM remaining in his last wallet, with ~30mil still in exchanges. Hopefully he dumps it all sooner, rather than later. I think we are all ready for thought of him still having XEM to be over with.
I think it's best if we all look at the bright side of this, whether or not the hacker gets away. 1. He crashed price, giving us excellent buy opportunities. 2. Drew much attention to exchange security, resulting in actions to strengthen it. 3. One could claim he played a robin-hood role of sorts, redistributing tax (fees) to us lowly plebes. 4. Proved NEM blockchain tech. - A. It can't or won't be manipulated by a big boss or a government. B. It can be traced, even when laundered, and even by average joes like myself. C. NEM chain can securely handle large volumes of transactions even without Catapult implemented yet!
