I hate to say it we need a vote. Very soon. The constant talk its killing me guys!!
I hate to say it. But +1 Please get this never ending logo story to a result. Trust me when I say it, this was a very energy consuming problem for us all. I am very glad we are approaching the the official vote and hope we'll choose a logo with which both the dev team and the community will be happy so we can finally move forward. If you're expecting to make everyone happy, good luck with that.  Not at all, there's clearly no point in even attempting that. This is what was meant: I guess that what xtester means with "the community" is a fair majority of its members |

For example: the the most voted logo has 35%, the second voted logo has 30% and the third voted logo has 25% and the rest has 10% percent. Now if you hold a second round between the most voted logo and the second voted logo, it is plausible that the second voted logo comes out the winner. Generally in multiple candidate voting, multiple voting rounds should be held until one candidate secure the majority of the vote ( > 50%). I do not want to change things for the sake of changing. If it is not for my opinion and several vocal others, there might not even be a vote. |

I actually have to agree with ARGpentem (which is a rare occurrence ) I would however make the second vote a little shorter. This voting ends on august 1st which is a friday so we could have the 2nd round - if it's necessary - end on the following sunday |
