What happens to the coins in a block if the block reaches max age of 30 days? Do those coins automatically 'refresh', or does the user have to manually send them to themselves again to reset the age back to '0'?
anyone? I've got a couple of blocks with age '23', just wondering what will happen when they get to 30

Price is going insane right now... Two days in a row of 40% increase. I'll be extremely surprised/pleased if HYP maintains the value..
yes, whats up with the crash in prices. Any idea for the reduction in value?

yes, whats up with the crash in prices. Any idea for the reduction in value? Thats the old question, nobody really knows. The only thing is for sure that holding HYP also pays of very nice. And it looks that currently the bag holders are the majority of HYP'ers.

It seems to me simple market game at play. Price for high, some people wanted to cash out so market corrected. Just a simple price over extension. Price is still positive today, and is nearing the $0.03 mark yet again. On one side I'm happy, because the holdings I do have is worth some, and its staking, so worth more soon. But on the other hand I wanted some more cheap HYP...

Crypto markets are volatile. High PoS markets tend to have thin order books because everyone is staking. My suggestion is to buy or sell over several days if not weeks so that you can average out your price instead of play the game of trying to time it exactly right.

I'd agree with this, and also many sells at small increments from your minimum up to a ridiculous high (cuz you never know), and be willing to adjust UPWARDS quickly if the market is moving. EDIT: I hit submit too early I wanted to say that you shouldn't adjust downwards, ever, unless you're truly desperate. If you (and many others, refuse to budge, you'll set a floor that can't be broken through.

Buy 5k, put it in one block and in 9-10ish days you will have 6k. Easy to get your average cost down that way and why I really love this coin

I guess it depends on your profit goals. No, you are not going to 10x your investment BUT you might double it easily... OR even just make a slight margin... but you'd be hard pressed to actually loose money I think

As long as it generates more BTC then POW you are OK. With current prices, try to set up a spread of several buy orders. For selling same applies.

Maintaining my wallet is a LOT easier then chasing after profitable coins to mine. Much easier to participate in chain security without the need of $$$ in hardware and upkeep.
