I had to restart my comp and therefore my wallet.  This erased the settings for "setstakesplitthreshold" resulting in a block split I didn't want to happen.

Yes right now your preference is not stored to the wallet.dat. I will be adding this soon. If you restart your wallet, it will go back to default of 1,000 unless you set it again. I should have this ready for the next wallet version.

as a temp stop-gap, could that be set in the conf?

Nope, it doesn't have a startup switch, only rpc command, so for now it requires manual labor  Cry

Move your fighting off of this thread and to its own thread please, I don't want to have to moderate, but I will.  This is directed at everyone, not one person in specific.

This.

I have people I consider friends on all sides of this. I don't particularly like being in the middle.
Seems to be part of the crypto world, too many ppl who like bashing other coin projects for "fun" or personal differences.
Sad...

Could you guys do a new tutorial explaining the "splitblock" feature in 1.0.7 and put it here http://hyperstake.com/category/tutorials/ ?

It looks like it'd save me a bunch of time, but I couldn't figure it out in the little time I spent on it last night.
Thanks in advance!

I just minted, and I went to view it and it said generated but not accepted. This means it was orphaned, correct?

TXID for reference: f64fdb8a3b74aa5e71f2e521914ef0fe4349ceb0709ead976411b7d8d609521f-000

mtwelve, not sure if you figured this out yet, but using the checkwallet and repairwallet buttons in the tools menu will get rid of your orphaned stake.

Okay thanks! I'll go do that and report back Smiley

Anyone know what's going on with HYP? Looks like someone(s) is deliberately pushing price down.

Shadowcoin has been doing fantastic actually in the last couple days. It came back from the low of 5.8 cents and is now at 12.3 cents. Looks like its coming back down tho, but yes Ripple and Fuelcoin seem to be the only ones that are going up

I am happy to report some progress made today.

First a bug introduced with the block splitter that made transactions with multiple recipients rejected by the network:
https://github.com/presstab/HyperStake/commit/6bfe1dde2992801ee82204690218c82ad816b70d

Second is that I was able to successfully expand check & repairwallet to have the ability to delete transactions that never got confirmed. Previously the only real way to do this was to export your keys to a new wallet. So this should be much easier. Still have a little more work to do here to make it perfect, but still glad to see progress.
https://github.com/presstab/HyperStake/commit/76fca01e83bd72e19ae6c84115cb327c0814c5a8
Quote
add code to fixspentcoins to check for coins that are not final and not
confirmed, and allow them to be deleted by repairwallet.

This commit also changes IsConfirmed() to not automatically assume that
if it is in our db then it is confirmed.

So I will continue testing these changes, make sure they work as they are supposed to. Then I will add the ability for the wallet to remember your splitstakethreshold settings and then will release a new wallet in the next little bit. Progress is still being made  Grin

I wanted to personally thank those with weak hands. Scored 56,000 hyp for a mere 950 sat each.. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

TBH it looks like HYP is still going down. When max gen kicks in December 6th ( Assuming this is correct) prices should either spike up briefly and stabilize. Right now I need some BTC to buy some HYP though Tongue

I sort of cringe a bit when I hear "when inflation control kicks in" or phrases like that (nothing personal against you mtwelve, everyone has been saying it). Ask yourself, have you been sizing your outputs/blocks differently than you would if there was no 1,000 HYP max stake reward?  If the answer is yes, then this is proof that inflation control has already kicked in.

Now the question of "max gen" kicking in.  Well this is a bit misleading as well, because there is a large chance that we don't see every single stake in one day hit the limit.  I think it was biomech that pointed this out, that it is much more likely that we get close to the max coin supply expansion per day, but that it will vary from day to day near that range.

Also one more note:
If you have any errors or bugs to report in the wallet, now is the time to report them before the next release!

You must have the latest release 1.0.7.2

Go to  Debug>Console and type Help>enter and a list of commands will be given and you will see "setstakesplitthreashold"

Put the minimum stake size you want after splitting after the command.  For example if you want your block size to be 1800 or more after splitting use:
setstakesplitthreashold 1800
