I like the 1% fee for automatic coin control. Perhaps it would be more enticing if it was better than manual coin control (if that's possible?)

Can someone explain me what does manual/automatic coin control mean?

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

Well, they've been making automatic transmissions for over 60 years and they still got nothin' on a manual... I have my doubts.

Can someone explain me what does manual/automatic coin control mean?

For a lot of detail, look at the wiki, but a short overview.

Under the "send coins" tab is coin control, which shows you every block you have and how much proof of stake "weight" it has and how many days it's been maturing. As new blocks are generated, this can get pretty chaotic, and you can use coin control to combine or split blocks into more useful/optimal sizes. This is an entirely manual process at present.

Presstab and a few others have been looking into automating this process to some degree. Currently, there is no automatic coin control. While I'd likely never use it, I think it's still a good idea, so long as it's an option rather than forced.

True, but the automatic is more popular, and serves to the masses. Perhaps that's how we should see automatic coin control?

Please test this beta release.

There are many new features since the last release, but please keep your eye on syncing functionality. Syncing should be dramatically faster.
The official wallet release will be coming in one or two weeks depending on how fast we work.

Also keep in mind that this beta release will now send change back to the sending address.  Please report any problems

how hard is this to set up on raspi? just curious..thanks
Beginning of a Rasberry tutorial. You are welcome to improve it.

Now, if you decided to add an automatic coin control feature, then why not benefit the community wallet with it - set aside 1% of the S4C going towards the community wallet. If people aren't willing to optimise the results themselves, let them pay for it. 1% is nothing in the whole scale of things.

Honestly though, consider not adding automatic coin control - you'll take away what I see as a big part of HYP's addictiveness.
Fine-tuning your control by going manual, go in cruise control mode when you want it to; focusing on other things than stake control, widening the adoption.

There are reasons why there are cars with manual transmissions and car with automatic transmissions. There are even cars with "sport mode".
Autocoincontrol is not an either/or proposal.

The 1% mandatory S4C is a dangerous idea. Default 1% that you can deactive (whether you are in manual or auto mode) could be worth considering. But 1% mandatory if you don't want to go manual.. I wish you luck to convince me.

Monero: the first crytocurrency to bring bank secrecy and net neutrality to the blockchain.HyperStake: pushing the limits of staking.

I'm going to be getting an HP Chromebox in 1 week and I want to use it for staking. It's a Chrome OS (celeron processor and 2GB ram). Is it possible to stake on a Chrome OS?
Link below is of a similar item I will get:

Used the new version, wallet sure does seem to be syncing faster. HYP always synced fast, so all is relative. Really liking the estimated range, and estimated days to stake, nifty! Block calculator is also useful  Grin

Hi all.
I am new to this coin and was curious what the latest wallet version is? I am running OS X and seem to be having trouble syncing a wallet. Have 0 active connections to hyper stake network. Have closed and relaunched a few times. Have deleted the peers.dat file. Nothing seems to be helping.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks!

If that doesn't sort you out join us in irc (##hyperstake on freenode.net) and we can try to help you further

I had the same thing, can not sync. I disable all Norton protections, it works right away.

OK all I have created a wallet installation picture guide for any newcomers and it is on the wiki.

Here is the link:  http://hyperstake.wikia.com/wiki/Beginner%27s_Guide_to_Wallet_Installation_and_Funding

I will be making a coin control one next. There will be a video tutorial guide, but it is still in the works so
hopefully this will help until then.
