I have requested exchanges to suspend trading for a day while we investigate some network issues which are causing viacoin nodes to ban other viacoin nodes causing some network isolation.

I will keep you up to date on the blog, but I feel this was the most responsible thing to do to ensure the integrity of the network.

absolutely correct. i know we're all frustrated that VIA is offline but thank goodness for a committed developer who is going to ensure things are done right.

• install viacoin 0.10.2(do not start it yet)
• remove peers.dat, blocks, chainstate,database. DO NOT DELETE WALLET.DAT
• addnode=stratum.via.theblocksfactory.com in your viacoin.conf (if you have other note, remove it, they can be on the wrong chain )
• start viacoin => redownloading the blockchain (5-10 minutes)

You guys are silly sometimes..

You don't have to delete anything.

1. Run CMD.exe
2. Navigate to your wallet program directory
3. Run viacoin-qt.exe -reindex

Wait until it reloads the correct index.

Done!

Not guaranteed to work this way. Rather wait for close official release or use Vialectrum.
