Some ideas that were discussed on the Circuits board:

  • Timed orders allows you to buy or sell coins in a time range you set.
There are also options for rate limiting, # orders, # minutes and # coins.

  • Programmable Orders allows you to monitor the market and automatically adjusts buys and sells based on criteria you set.

  • Stacking (dust) allows you to line the books with buy or sell orders.
You set a range for a number of coins, rate min/max you want to dust and a difference in spread for each order.

  • Accumulation bot you will activate the bot against a trading pair with a % difference field.  It will monitor that trading pair for buys and sells and upon execution of an order it will place the opposite order at that %."

  • Full stop-loss/Take profit control over all bot functions via both timed buys and timed sells.

  • Algorithm to accumulate, push, and sell at optimal times based on a user-configured market analysis.

  • WhaleHunter module. Isolates and analyzes trading patterns and distribution changes of specific coins in specific time frames to identify large trader patterns. Drafting function allows you to program your bot to match the whale’s movements.

Are we going to see some of these for Quatloo?

Maybe in year 2364?

Won't need money by that time!
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I would love to see this built as a platform so that 3rd parties could write trading plugins that would just use the framework to access the exchanges. It's pretty simple in .Net if you're exposing a standard interface for the "trading Engine", to all of the various sections of code that consume that data and posts the orders.

Any thoughts?

I have a strange error, I can't change the "Arbitrage Interval (s)" anymore. In the past it was enough to restart one or two times to fix it, but now after 10+ restarts I am still not able to change the number.

There is a video available that shows how to use it.

I'd rather prefer a manual and I hope Markus is going to provide a manual for the new Quatloo trading software. It would be better if the instructions were available right at the start.

With QTL on a run towards outerspace, can we possibly get a new release of V2 with a reduced holding amount of QTL to unlock advanced features? This would let us either cash in or arbitrage qtl.

I am selling off bit by bit. I will probably use some limit orders down around 3000 or so to buy back what I sold, maybe a little more.

I am still in.  Still believe this can be something, just a little disappointed with progress and info lacking.  Would like to see these guys rise above the rest, especially since they are staying at it.  Most of these coins are just one and done scams.  Love to see one with staying power.

Dont get me wrong, I am not selling off everything. I am simply attempting to take a profit and buy back more if/when it pulls back, standard trading technique. I would be pissed at myself if it dropped back to 2000 and I didn't pull some profits out when I could have.

I have sold most of my coins to buy back near 2000.
Time will tell if it was a right choice, right now it is the best strategy to do. Taking profits is never bad, even if you sold to early.

I'm really interested to give a try to the bot, but my question is: what if, after a week or so, i ahve to sell My Quatloo coins? The bot stop to works or it will continue on operation tradings?
Of course the question is not intended as i want to apply this strategy to have the software free (think around € 20,00 is a decent prize for a great software), but is just to know if my coins are locked until i use the software or not...
Sorry if the question was already posed in other sections, in case i will delete my post.
Thanks

He did think of this when he designed it. You can purchase the coins needed for the basic functions to see if you like it, if you do and want to access more then you buy more.
Think of the QTL your buying to unlock the bot as an investment, only use funds that you don't need for something else. If your choosing between QTL and toilet paper you have other things to worry about.

My advice would be to grab the 1k QTL needed for basic functions, wait to see what happens with the price before you buy more. The chart looks like it might be double topping and ready to pull back to the trendline.
