They are making up for it by increasing the withdrawal fee. Hopefully this will breathe some life into some of the lower volume coins and we can all make some more btc trading.

I'm waiting on Markus to beta test still. Ran into bugs and he has a heavy work schedule again, but it is being worked on.

You need to get either the circ bot or the bot bot. QTL is bad and broken.

Yeah, look who it is. Everyone look at the shill for whatever coin he is trying to pump this week ^^^^^^.
Ignore the fact that the qtl bot is fully functional and accessible to anyone who wishes to try it out and not priced to keep out the "little people".

I will be testing beta of Polo/Cryptsy push arb bot this weekend. MarKus or I will update when more is known about reliability, it is much faster (real-time), so mistakes or one way arb orders would get magnified.  And yes, I think everyone should ask Cryptsy to add QTL, it would be great to have them.

As much as I hate to say this, no one knows whether Cryptsy is legit or really being investigated as coinfire claims. I have not spoken to MarKus about it, but hope he chimes in here on his thoughts.  I really wish Bittrex did push api, bittrex/polo would have been real nice.

I don't doubt that cryptsy is kneedeep in shit, but we have to keep in mind that crypto is still a baby and the only way to get the laws and regs written and defined is to just move forward and innovate, let the chips fall and the feds do what they will do. You can't obey rules that are grey or not defined at all.
There is also that the stocks and commodities exchanges don't need to register as MSBs in every state, not that I am aware of anyway.

The above said, cryptsy is the current king of the crypto exchange world, despite their issues and short comings they are the top dog on # of coins and volume. They make enough money that I don't see them having a problem getting things sorted and we might look back on this as the cryptsy case being the cornerstone of the regs and laws that govern crypto.

I agree but from what I am seeing over IRC, forums, twitter, etc. is that people are withdrawing (if they can) from Cryptsy. True or not, people don't want their coins at risk there. They could shut down or be shut down an any time if the rumors are true. Gox, Mintpal, I don't blame people for leaving till the truth comes out and the dust clears. Haven't heard from MarKus or what he thinks of all this, hopefully he will join in.

Hopefully this will push the volume up at the other exchanges, polo and bitt.

If need be, as far as I am concerned, he can drop the push support for polo and get ccex and other exchanges in the arb. I would love it if he would put cex.io in the arb options.

Upgrades would be nice.  Long intervals == slow death of coin.

Yes, upgrades would be nice but it is not sufficient. Quatloo is a good coin but the marketing is weak, very weak.

The results of this can be seen on Bittrex: "This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on October 23rd unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC."

I tried to start a discussion on the Bitcointalk announcement thread for Quatloo: "Coin supply and adoption rate". To get people interested in  a coin the price needs to rise on average over time. The price of Quatloo will rise if the user adoption (=QTL required) on average surpasses the amount of QTL that is generated each day by mining. Currently the adoption rate is low due to the marketing and the lack of interaction with the community.

How shall people find Quatloo if there is barely any (visible on the thread) activity?

Quatloo would be in a much better position if there would be:

1. a road map with milestones where people can see that development goals are met

2. an active forum on the announcement thread where the developer regularly supports user suggestions and provides feedback.

I think just arbing QTL, multipools selling, and a few people buying will keep it on bittrex and over .2 btc volume. But I am wondering on when MarKus is really going to do the halving.
