Peeps - " Does anyone have opinions on withdrawal times?"

Yes. Instant.

As you mentioned, several books (like Nitro) have regressed.
Instant withdrawals were great for the customer, but now it can take 2.5 - 5 hours.

If they had specific problems with their instant withdrawals, then remedy the problems by improving their systems and software, rather than penalizing their customers with long wait times for withdrawals.

And honesty about withdrawal times would be refreshing. Don't state "It may take a few minutes once in awhile" if it's going to take hours fairly often.


The books should also allow one to opt out of Casino and Poker access, which are frequently used by hackers once they steal one's sportsbook funds, to move the funds out of the book, or gamble them away.

Gogo- You stated that books should pay us instantly. To avoid arguments with books on whether a withdrawal was instant or it took a few minutes, would you have an objection to setting a 15 minute rule?

Books/exchanges that can't consistently meet a 15 minute withdrawal rule will have their rating decreased. There are going to be exceptions since some withdrawals will be red flagged for security purposes so a couple of withdrawals taking longer will be acceptable.

If we do implement this rule, it won't go into affect for a month. Some books have stated that they will have instant withdrawals in place soon.

I'd suggest getting started with this.
If you'd like to make it 15 minutes, use that.

If a book switches to instant withdrawals at any time, call attention to it.

We will implement the 15 minute rule June 1. If a high percentage of withdrawals are processed within 15 minutes, this will help in a book's rating. If withdrawals are taking more than 15 minutes, then downgrades will be given.

Books do go through automated checks with each withdrawal request. Some withdrawals may be held up for manual review.  There will be exceptions. Some books will manually review the first withdrawal that a player requests. A high majority of withdrawals should be made within 15 minutes. Feel free to report excessive withdrawal times.

My next project is going to be odds comparisons but it is sport specific. One book offers better odds in baseball. Another book offers better odds in EPL. It has to be broken down further by match, handicap, total, vanilla, opinionated, etc.

I agree that there are a number of different criteria for judging a sportsbook.

All other things being equal, the price is most important.

Don't ever play at this site. They had system errors yesterday, so they could not grade my bets for at least 10 hours. Then, today, I requested two payouts(.7 BTC and .2 BTC), and they sent out without adding fees. Are you kidding me? Without adding fees. One could be a mistake, but two of my payouts that they did not add fees. Don't ever play at this site, they have alot of issues from deposits to placing bets. I repeat don't ever play at this site."


This is perhaps the 5th or 6th time that I've seen different posters claim that Anonibet sends out withdrawals without including the miners fee which is usually ~ 0.0001 btc.

What criteria would you use in grading books? Do you consider sports outside of American markets? How important are small market sports? Do you consider derivatives, props, alt lines? Is live betting, live chat a consideration? Do the amount of employees, player base or time in existence mean anything?  What weight is given in being able to play in currencies outside of bitcoins?  Every book has strengths and weaknesses. Opinions from all are welcome to help improve the rating's guide.

I agree that there are a number of different criteria for judging a sportsbook.

Can you mention any of these that are superior at BetcoinSports?

1. Right now Betcoin has the best line on the Cavs and on the over in that game. Many tennis and soccer bets are the same.

2. I think that Betcoin is bigger than all books rated below them.

3. The best lines are at Nitrogen followed by Jetwin combining all sports. This may take some time but I'm hoping that one day the spreadsheet will contain the book with the lowest margin by sport.

We first had the problem that a user could cancel a bet twice due to a specific so called "race condition". Know our fix lead to the bug that in some cases a user can not cancel an open bet at all. We might need to do a bigger refactoring of our code.

Intentionally deceptive advertising/posts about this past day's "freerolls".

For the hourly freerolls, they were awarding 1 mBTC, or about 24 cents USD.

So these are truly play money tournaments, but they are stretching the meaning of freeroll by giving out a meaningless amount of money so they can call it a "freeroll" rather than a meaningless play money tournament with no cash prizes.

My winning limit is 50mbtc (12 USD) at betvip after 1 lost bet and i have 1 BTC bonus.

How many bets should i place to complete betvip bonus requirements ?

If i take the lowest odds 1.5 , then my maximum stake could be only 33.33 mbtc (8 USD)
So if i want to complete betvip bonus requirements i have to place (1*10/0.033 =) 303 bets @1.5, 400 bets @ 2

So what do you think about it ?

Your question has been answered on our thread. As stated, please PM me your account details so that I can investigate the reason for a limit. As explained, the maximum risk limit could have been reached on that particular bet if it was a popular market.
