Not defending directbet.eu , but I know for a fact that all bets not confirmed before an event starts are rejected automatically. And the bettor also has the option of rejecting the bet at any point before it confirms. That said if directbet.eu did not reject the bet before the events started, they are liable to a degree and should offer Kosovar better compensation.

RobinH explaining the rangernation case where a deposit was confiscated. This is how I understand it..... directbet.eu rejected a bet because of low fees, then confisticated the wager instead of refunding it. Bet details: https://www.directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=1J48n6KMDKutNcb68ywoHgfrZVkD28VrfkThey are claiming ragernation is responsible for a successful double spend bet on their platform. Bet details; https://directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=1JtH9TefRKwB9W71qeD2fAGGCp27PtWnnnSo they are keeping the wager from the rejected bet as part payment for the double-spend bet. ragernation is denying any knowledge of the double-spend bet. And is demanding a refund from directbet.eu and rightly so, if he/she has nothing to do with the double spend bet in question. directbet.eu are also claiming that ragernation and hungerstyle are one and the same. An accusation ragernation vehemently denies, albeit incoherently. If directbet.eu has sufficient proof that hungerstyle and ragernation is the same person, and is responsible for the double-spend. Then they are within their rights to keep the funds. Otherwise they should refund ragernation immediately. I hate to say I told you so directbet.eu, but this will keep happening until you fix your exploitable book. 9.049 BTC deposit confiscated.

The situation does demonstrate why Directbet tried so hard to get hungerstyle's true identity.
If hungerstyle hadn't submitted an altered ID, Directbet could now ask rangernation for proof of identity and if they are correct prove he is hungerstyle. [Granted if they are correct, rangernation (hungerstyle) could also attempt to offer fake id, but it would or might help to make their case if they had real ID of hungerstyle].

DirectBet lowered to "D-" Player placed a 3 team parlay bet of 50 ETH at odds of 3.32. The bet was placed approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes prior to the start of the first game. After no confirmations, the player sent an email to DirectBet approximately 1 hour prior to the start of the first game. After the first 2 games of the parlay won and the third game was winning, DirectBet sent an email stating that the bet would be refunded. The ticket shows that the bet was confirmed at odds of 3.32. There is a second case where ragernation placed a bet of 9.049 BTC. The bet was rejected by DirectBet. DirectBet did not refund the 9.049 BTC to ragernation. DirectBet claimed that ragernation made another bet with a double spend and they have the right to confiscate 9.049 BTC. ragernation denies making the second bet and DirectBet has no evidence showing that ragernation did indeed make the second bet.

To clarify the parlay wager. The bet was confirmed at odds of 3.32 with a result of won as shown on the ticket.
The player made the bet at best available odds on receipt and DirectBet gave the player confirmed odds: 3.32.
DirectBet refused to pay out the winnings.

It's literally impossible for DirectBet to obtain the identity of an anonymous user and know with 100% certainty it's person who placed the bet. I hate the fact that this guy is obv guilty but he should be paid anyway. DirectBet has 3 options: Pay all double spend scammers and never seize funds of innocent players. Seize scammers funds and possibly innocent users funds on occasion. Fix their exploitable sportsbook.

You've warned DirectBet a few times about their vulnerability and that haven't made any changes yet.
It makes it even more frustrating to see Betcoin consistently ranked high despite mountains of evidence proving how unethical they are. And no, just because their biggest scandals have involved stealing from/fucking those who play poker or casino games and this thread is for sports bettors is no excuse to look the other way. It's like a parent hiring a criminal who has been convicted of kidnapping little girls to babysit their son. He hasn't kidnapped any little boys though, right?

I've read many of your posts on poker and casinos. You've given great insight. I don't understand enough about casinos and poker rooms to come to any conclusions. This thread only pertains to sportsbooks and it was stated at the beginning.

My transaction was sent with the normal fee for every transaction, .0001 They just slapped some bs and refuse to speak. They haven't emailed, responded, or acknowledged in their thread. Pretty clear cut to me what directbet really is judging by all the other users posted problems. They probably just pull that shit and 9/10 people let it slide and they factor it in or get away with it. Worst case they just get their free week loan. Pretty much the definition of kiting/loaning. Anyone can go to https://blockchain.info/double-spends and pull a list and slap it on.

In response to the previous comment,sportsbet.io should be ranked as F.Check out their official thread, running a fake promo lottery with terrible odds and false promotions to attract attention. To add, they're run by the same agencies running most of the mentioned above D rated websites.People are simply enjoying the few satoshi's paid by the agency to attract more attention. To be honest, not sure why you have rated directbet.eu as bad, they're the best bitcoin based sports betting sites ever.Period.

Thanks for the info on sportsbet.io and it will be looked into. With DirectBet, the player made a 50 ETH parlay bet at "best available odds". The bet was received and confirmed at odds of 3.32. The bet won and DirectBet didn't pay the winnings.

Thanks for the info on sportsbet.io and it will be looked into. With DirectBet, the player made a 50 ETH parlay bet at "best available odds". The bet was received and confirmed at odds of 3.32. The bet won and DirectBet didn't pay the winnings. I would like to clarify, as I believe my circumstance is a pretty grey area. However, I still feel that they SHOULD pay. DirectBet has always paid me ALL confirmed bets/odds. This specific instance went as follows: - I sent 3 x 50 ETH chunks to the bet ID
- First two got confirmed no problem
- Last transaction was in limbo for hours. After my 2 events won, I finally got a response to multiple e-mails stating that there was an error on their side that didn't confirm the odds in the book
- I believe they should pay out and honor the bet on the last 50 ETH because the parlay was in a winning state. My logic is that if I had sent another 50 ETH while the 50 ETH was in limbo, it's possible that I could over extend my risk tolerance and all 200 ETH could be confirmed minutes before the first game started. In this case, DirectBet would tell me that I'm shit out of luck. Once an event starts, then you're SOL
I would like to clarify that I've wagered a LOT of money at DirectBet at this point. They've been slow to respond. But never NOT pay out CONFIRMED winnings. Peeps Place, as much as I hate to say it, and as much as I truly believe they should pay out the winnings on my parlay because the 50 ETH was in limbo and in their hands, I think we should make sure that people know the truth and have all of the facts. DirectBet, according to THEIR own rules, did no wrong. But, this is really a grey area and puts the bettor (me) at risk when this happens. The system is flawed because of the blockchain use IMO... I want the truth to come out on both sides. DirectBet has been invited to join the thread. I looked into the case and you made a bet at best odds. DirectBet confirmed the bet and gave you odds of 3.32. I don't see this as being a grey area. If this case was taken to an arbitrator that understood gambling, I believe 100% that they would rule in your favor. All that's needed is the confirmed ticket. You are a very honest guy. You sent an email to DirectBet one hour before the start of the first game. What DirectBet did is free roll you. Unscrupulous books will do this.

Just to be clear, I am saying this is a grey area because 100 ETH was confirmed at 3.32
The last 50 ETH was just stuck.. NO WHERE, not confirmed, or anything.
They sent me an email 4 hours later, after 2 events won, and the 3rd in a winning state, that there was a bug and they will be refunding me the last 50 ETH.
I understand what you're saying, and yes, I believe that the bet should be honored considering the circumstances.
If you believe that you shouldn't receive your money and that DirectBet has a choice in not paying you, then I'll back off and it won't be held against DirectBet in this thread. The ticket says the bet was confirmed, it wasn't rejected. It's your call.

The ticket says the bet was confirmed. It's your call. Right, I'm trying to clarify here. I DO believe that I should receive the 50 ETH parlay winnings from them. They paid out BOTH confirmed 50 ETH legs of this bet (100 ETH x 3.32) ... The last 50 ETH was in limbo. No where. Not confirmed, just no where. Am I making sense? I sent 50 ETH and it just sat in their wallet and didn't hit my bet. It was sent 1 minute apart from the others expecting to go total 150 ETH on the bet. This is because of the 50 ETH limit on some of these. I understand. This has happened with DirectBet many times in the past with bitcoins, not ether. Please just tell me if you should be paid or shouldn't. If you say there is a grey area, then it will be disregarded as far as this thread and the case closed.
