I see you downgraded Cloudbet to an F, but you forgot to remove them from the C books.

Make sure you keep PowerBet as an F. They have frozen player balances and not allowed withdrawals. Recently they removed my balance and now I can't even log in.

They have confiscated 3 BTCs from me. It was only about $4,000 when they first froze it, but now with BTC at $17,500, that's $52,500 they have confiscated from me. Ouch!

Hey Peeps,

Just wanted to let you know that Betcoin is closing their Poker room as of Christmas ( which, I suppose is over, so it's closed )

Also, they are very likely* stealing the progressive bad beat jackpot that has been collected .01 mbtc at a time over the years.

So, if you're keeping score:

They have stolen a progressive jackpot worth around BTC1,000 from jasonort.  This was maybe 18 months ago? , and from a specific player.  You can look at their trust rating, most of the references refer to the incredibly scummy way they handled the situation.

Then there's this bad beat jackpot and the whole "hey guys, we've been AQUIRED by someone" so we're closing down the poker room.

Probably a good thing they're closing down the poker room in general.  But pretty fucked up how the ~BTC43 progressive jackpot will simply be disappearing.

I don't expect you to do much because, hey, I haven't proven to you that they have fucked a sports bettor.  I also think it's in your best interest, financially speaking, to convince your people to sign up under your affiliate.

I really think it's disgusting that you haven't taken a stand against these guys.  Truly dispicable.

If anything isn't clear, or maybe I'm misinformed about something, I'd be happy to discuss things.  I don't mean to hijak your thread, but would prefer to keep things transparent.

* I say very likely  because, in true 'Betcoin' fashion, they refuse to even aknowledge the situation.  They haven't admitted to stealing it.  They haven't responded to any questions about it.  Makes sense when you think about it I suppose.  If you can steal huge ammounts of money from your custormers, and still have guys like you (peeps place) defend them, the clear best play is to simply pretend like nothings happening.

Hi TwitchySeal, I've been on vacation otherwise I would have replied earlier. Thanks for the update on Betcoin. The link provided isn't an affiliate link.

Only the sportsbook side of books are considered for the ratings and there haven't been any problems with payouts at Betcoin.

Why no Fairlay? They are solid. They have Pinnacle odds!

Just because they are an Exchange? That is no reason not to list them, especially considering how few reliable Bitcoin Books we have to choose from. They are a sportsbook where you can place any wager that you can place on Pinnacle for peep's sake! :-)

True, one has to get used to the exchange layout, but it's not hard.

Jetwin has a nice site, and plenty of offerings, but terrible odds last I checked. Maybe they have gotten more competitive lately? I'll check.

There are a few exchanges but I'm just going to keep this to sportsbooks for now.

But they are a sportsbook!

How are they not a sportsbook?!

 Huh

Your thread, your call. I just find them excellent and I certainly use them like any other sportsbook that I use.

Betcoin re-instated to A-. In communication with Betcoin, I believe that things will be better than ever. There have never been any problems on the sportsbook side and it looks like all poker/casino concerns are being resolved.

Yearly warning - Only play at top books this time of the year. Bad books like to run after the Super Bowl and there have been quite a few bad bitcoin books.

That sounds good and hopefully they'll be able to turn it all around to their own favor. I've also noticed that their sportsbook has always been stellar.. don't expect that to change any time soon.

Will keep a close eye on the progress and I'm happy with the A- for now.
