Sweet setup, is that in your basement? I wish I had a basement to mount some rigs to a wall.

Time is money. This means that if you have spare time, you can use it to make money.

Modular, open, and stack-able miner case.

Stackable, translucent test rig ... best so far for my money ... nice compromise between rack, cabinet and open stack ... looks the biz too with all the blue and red LED's going  Cheesy

Those bars are just the aluminium kitset framing stuff right?

Yup!

Overall, I am very pleased with the way it has turned out.  Looks awesome when the lights are off, too Smiley

I'm not too sure if it's completely cost effective when compared to some cases that are available, but at just under $60 each, it's basically a drop in the bucket when you're loading them up with 6990s Cheesy

Vladimir:

If you're gonna show off like that, please have the courtesy to leave us some toast for all of this jelly.  Wink

Is there the PEG power coming into the air intake vent? If yes then you seem to block it with this cables, what happened to side PEG socket?

Yeah I ended up getting black lightweight plastic shelving, about 6 ft high and stack the miners on there. I just need a basement, and the house to go with a basement.

Time is money. This means that if you have spare time, you can use it to make money.

Modular, open, and stack-able miner case.

Nice. Any chance you could post some pictures of how this looks under the hood? I'm a bit interested in seeing how you set up the ventilation in this case. Smiley

My 3x5870 mining machine
using two power adapters (400W for motherboard+hdd and 600W for VGA adapters)
The case was small for third card, so I decided to cut some on the bottom with circular saw.

Temporary home for my two 5850s while I await the last piece of my "dedicated" mining rig, the bloody Sempron.

Yes, the wiring is a disaster. That's what I get for mistakenly buying a non-modular PSU (years ago, before I knew the difference).

Nevermind the PSU, good case would clean that mess. Today bought HAF 912, clean work, cooler temps compared to non-case option. Just waiting for second card, so I can upload photos from full rig.

I like it, do you run with the side on or off?

Right now it's off, because that ASUS card is getting hot hot hot, but I usually run the side on. Won't be an issue when I get the new rig built.

Ok, I will try to remember making some shots the next time I do maintenance (probably soonish, when it's getting very warm, I might want to flash the BIOS to reduce Voltage back to factory or something lower than now).

I would build the thing differently nowadays, though.
