because they were 750ti, only 50 watt each, they don't need a large distance like amd card, and they weren't so hot btw

Why a n-vidia rig  Shocked ??
Well it's obvious that he is a noob (nothing wrong with this, no offence).
He made a mistake doing so. He had no chance to get ROI. I'm not even going to talk about profit.

Radeon 7950 was the king back in the days.

Considering the forum, an assumption of BITCOIN mining is quite reasonable.

He can still be producing Bitcoin with it but via a multipool that sells bitcoin, it would be ridiculous to mine sha on anything but an asic.

That gets a bit iffy though - people will start posting selfies in the claim that they perform work at their dayjob which pays them out in zloty and thus enables them to buy Bitcoin Wink

I do wonder about those with GPU rigs whether any of them have tried their hand at vanity mining.  I have no idea what the ratio of that vs (newly launched and thus mine+dumpable) altcoins is.

Vanity mining?
When I was mining with GPUs in late 2014 (before the spike) I was still mining alts and I held some and dumped some. Even though Bitcoin was profitable some altcoins were 5-10 times more profitable than Bitcoin.
I've just used them to buy into Bitcoin. I don't think that GPU mining is viable these days. However I don't blame some people that keep mining with GPUs. They don't need to make any money, just pay the bills and the card (over time). It's because of 'sentimental' reasons.
I always love remembering the exciting times and frustrations caused by my rigs.

I am going that route, I decided to not buy anymore asics except for a possible ant every few generations and just buy Bitcoin. I am going to mine Dash with a GPU rig and Litecoin with a thunder x3 that I have modded just keep a rig on all main algorithms (sha,scrypt,x11)

I wonder due to the recent events with the prices going down, that people arent too freaked out to sell their stuff.

I see a lot of risk at this point, based on all the people shown massive amounts of hardware, hoping for the longer upturn for the coin.

Price now is like low $200ish.

There is always risk. I personally think it will go back up.  Might be slowly.

Selling could be good or bad depending on your ROI situation.  Selling and buying BTC cheap would be the nice thing about now.  Other side is miners might sell for less now, but miners seem to have not really slid much.  A lot I think has to do with there is no next gen yet.

You should check out a run-of-the-mill vacuum or electric mower.. plugs can get a bit warm, nothing wrong with that.  Plus I'm not sure that's the plug rather than the meter on there.  And, of course, there's no scale Smiley
