Most likely pretty loud, they are not really made to be quiet on this types of fan's.

You will more commonly find them used in duct work, and places where noise is not a issue.

They're actually surprisingly quiet and move a lot of air...

Got myself AntMiner S5 a month ago. I was surprised how bad cooling solution it has. Loud fan, bad heatsink design and a lot of air not even going through the heatsinks. After a month of playing with it and some 3D printing this is what my small rig currently looks like (just ordered the second S5):

I'm keeping it on the terrace, rain can't reach it and there's plenty of fresh air for the miner to keep it cool. I've put it on the PSU because I noticed it absorbs some vibrations which you could otherwise hear in the room nearby during the night.
It's hashing 1.35-1.4Th/s (clocked at 425MHz), temps of the miner are about 42°C higher than ambient while hashing at that rate. 34°C higher than ambient at default clock. Which means I don't need to fear of hot summer anymore.

Vorta you have one of the best looking S5's.  Very very clean setup!  Do you have pics of setup being made?  I think it's thread worthy if you documented making the parts and installing, etc.

right now from temps outside around 72F was getting on the titan asics mostly 65-70c with one or two at 82c but that is just with the windows open
at the other end of the basement in the room in the pic on the prev posts in the basement they are closed...again i did not think windows too close to
the kindergarten knc titan setup.....even a few sprinkles could be bad

I was told (not sure) 65c to 75c is not too shabby...others with titans can chime in here....as to why i did not do this before they make dandy
space heaters....my gas bill for heat on budget went down exactly almost 35 usd a month in the winter months ...that and the fact they eventually
also i suspect could be used for the 'classic full form asic aesthetic" doorstop(s).

got some time yet...but say 90F outside would be like 102F  that probably would be bad this again is temp(s) i seem to remember when I had no miners
and no ventilation with windows shut.....but inside will have to tweak something for air flow in those window(s) above the titan ..again see prev posts and
pictures but I think maybe 1 gable fan setup there with their built in temp switches (normally used in attics) and maybe a push in fan at the other end of the basement
...but we have few days in the 90's F of any real note...so probably have a month or so to dork with this

I swapped all the fans in my cubes with the ones from my S2's.  If sound is not the primary concern I would recommend doing this; temps dropped ~20c after the switch.

Thank you! I've documented most of the process, if not all. A lot of tables and tests to see what yields the best result. During my tests I've also discovered a design flaw which gives wrong temperature readouts to all users. Should I get enough free time I'll open a thread and go over it all. Now I'm just waiting for the second miner to arrive to see them heating up the place in pair.

Could you share the STL file ?? Im also planning to do something similar.

I've noticed that even with a default fan, just putting the miner vertically will result in lower temps. It's no more than ~2 degrees but it's something. So I've decided to make it a vertical setup.

my question is how to calculate electricity cost for the farm which includes multiple asics and GPU miners? and compare it with the mining profit?

In a farm you would also have overhead, heat extraction, etc.  You have to find a formula to make sure you cover all this if you were running a farm.

GPU mining is only good for a small number of altcoins, and not very profitable (even if you run X11/x13)
kill-a-watt is a device that you plug in between the outlet and your system to find the power consumption.

Just barley put it together for testing. Gonna let it run for 48 hrs , then tie down all the wires, and make it look pro. Ill post more pics then. But for now..here is my KNCminer titans batch 2, total +/- 1800Mhs.
