I have no idea why Imgr keeps flipping my photos.
Have a TAV redhash, and 1 jupiter, plus some singles and USB miners. Need to get more power run... again.

Another classic jusr came up in another thread:

Looks like switches at the bottom... in 2010 there were no stupidly powerful ASIC miners (they're still working is what suprises me!) Waiiit what is this, water? O.o The source of this image is possibly: http://www.reddit.com/r/techsupportgore/comments/13z049/would_not_want_to_go_to_work_and_find_this/Which is also much larger in size, posted 10 months ago. From the look of the water color it's flood water or sewerage. As long as the PSU in that networking equipment (they look like fiber switches) is sitting above the water level then it will likely keep running. DC electronics at 12v or less will work for longer than you think underwater. Hope they had applicable insurance.

This was my first rig 3x 5850 flashed to 5870 bios. hashing about 400mhash each. http://imageshack.us/scaled/thumb/854/qy45.jpgI then decided to swap to LTC and FTC and build a proper miner. 4x 7950's running at 70degrees pulling 650-680khash each. http://imageshack.us/scaled/thumb/585/xiru.jpgI ended up getting ROI and ALOT more by jumping onto FTC straight away then dumping soon as it hit btc-e at a VERY inflated price. Sold the rig for what i paid for the parts. down sized my Gaming PC back to one GPU and got me some Block Erupters (ordered 50 and paid $5AUD each) even though alot of people say they never get back ROI im sure i will get my $5 each back . http://imageshack.us/scaled/thumb/407/4h9e.jpgI also converted a 500watt ATX PSU into a power supply to feed my USB Hubs which i am still waiting on. All up it will give me 40amps on the 5v and 14amps on the 12v. Plenty of breathing space. This way i can run and connect them in any order or place and not have to worry about plug packs getting hot! http://imageshack.us/scaled/thumb/96/d4me.jpghttp://imageshack.us/scaled/thumb/21/s5fk.jpgIts running 10x USB miners fine. once i get my other 4 hubs i will be organizing and setting them up properly and will upload more pics.

I've been looking at those same hubs, but read too much bad reviews of them... Could you please detail what you've done to them to accept the PSU and also exactly what you have done in the PSU? Thank you!

Heat is always the issue for me.
Even when I space them out, the heat in the room goes up to. Granted, 20GPUs running full force will do that.

Not much to look at, but pulls a steady 450Ghs overclocked. Within the sea of fans is a bitfury m-board with 12 h-cards plugged in. Disclamer: the images contain a shameless attempt of marketing somewhat unrelated goods. Behind the rig is an open window, the ups cardboard is in place to prevent direct rainfall on the rig should winds blow in the exactly right direction at massive force.

I have soldered straight into the power lines in the hub which goto my psu. No issues yet but its only been a week. Once I have 5 going ill see I'd there are issues and if so I will upgrade to a brand name haha.
Regarding the gpus it sat in a 15degree c server room with my other rig and web server so cooling wasn't an issue. If I was purely ambient air then they would have been roasting haha.

How come some H-cards appear to have custom heat sinks and some don't?

Yes, the distance from the top fans to outdoors is about 50cm, it would actually take gale force winds at the exact right direction for drops to actually reach the cardboard. Some would consider the whole cardboard unnecessary. How come some H-cards appear to have custom heat sinks and some don't?
I have a batch of ~100 more heat sinks on route. This all I could muster up to this point, cleared out a finnish webstore and got one batch from dealextreme.

Did someone say HEATSINKS !? Lapped PII 960T + lapped Zalman 12x How much did the temperature decrease after lapping the heatsink? Counting the cpu's improvements, I'm guessing 5-8C thanks in large part to the very uneven nickel plated finish I was dealing with. Here it is after a few quick 600 grit sessions. Then a few more... x6 4.3 ghz Wprime, 43C If I showed you the quad core temps, you wouldn't believe me. @Jay_Pal Tyvm Not bad at all considering I went straight to the 2000 grit after I ran out of the 600s. lol
