The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

do you have much noise in your room?

 They are surprisingly quiet.

Whats really surprising is why/how so many people expect noise when adding fans.

4x 120mm/case + 1x 120mm/cpu + 4x 92mm/gpus + 1x 135mm fan/psu = Pretty freakin quiet ! Grin

why are you pointing fans at a water-cooled system? that seems almost entirely pointless, the heat exchange radiator for the watercooling loop is the only thing that should require much airflow

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

Man, you must think I'm pretty dense eh?

The cards are not water cooled. The are not a reference design. EK waterblocks had them listed as compatible when I bought the cards, then changed it a few days later. I'm still rather upset about that.

Rampalija- Thanks!
Also, what is "gotax?"

Passive cooling on cards?!

Huh?

Mine are not passive cooled, simply sapphire r9 280x "dual-x" cards. I have to run the fans at 100% to keep them at ~75c at 1080/1500 I13. I plan on burning the fans out, because they will at 100%, and replacing with watercooling. Lots of the non-ref 280x cards are the same non-ref design, kinda hoping someone comes out with a new block, against all odds.

750kh/s on one, ~745kh/s on the display card.

I have more clock room left, if I had a way to get the heat out...

Those Dual-X coolers are terrible for mining and barely cut it when gaming.

To make matters worse, the memory thermal pad(s) on my 7870xt's was keeping the hsf from sitting flush with the chip.

Nice one, how much watt those cards consume?
