Are those USB to PCIE 1x risers? Cool. Where did you source those?
I see them on eBay: http://bit.ly/1ec3kys

This is what I've been working on all weekend. Winwoes is fighting like a beast, so I'm having to learn new things to get this going. *snip* And of course the initial design My services are always for hire, too Can you PM with me a quote for 2? How stackable/scaleable is this? Very interested

With the GPU exhausts pointed up, don't know if stacking would be an ideal configuration for these. They are pretty cool looking though

This is what I've been working on all weekend. Winwoes is fighting like a beast, so I'm having to learn new things to get this going. And of course the initial design My services are always for hire, too Is this really yours? That is Awesome rig! Love it mate! Edit: can you make a Youtube ? Haha, yeah. Really mine I'll make a youtube video when I get it running finally. I know nothing about linux, but managed to get the 13.11 amd beta drivers installed. I used 12.04, but cgminer 3.4 won't run on 12.04 apparently, and other cgminer versions don't play nice with these cards. Are those USB to PCIE 1x risers? Cool. Where did you source those?
I see them on eBay: http://bit.ly/1ec3kysThose are the ones I used. Much better than the ribbon cable garbage. I never got those to work reliably. This is what I've been working on all weekend. Winwoes is fighting like a beast, so I'm having to learn new things to get this going. *snip* And of course the initial design My services are always for hire, too Can you PM with me a quote for 2? How stackable/scaleable is this? Very interested I sure can, I'll need to wait till tomorrow though if that's alright. I designed it to be scalable and stackable, there's still a few things I plan to change for the final model. The sides will likely be closed with acrylic, and I don't foresee the orientation of the cards being much of an issue. There will be a huge air space above the cards when stacked, the 20" box fan will have no problem pushing that out the back. From some initial research the riser cables can be had for around 6.60/ea in bulk too, so no more than an average riser. It's pretty heavy duty though, and will be even more so when I find steel rivets instead of aluminum. In the final revision the top tray will be bent deeper, so a second pair of legs can be stacked/keyed on top. Probably use 6/32's to secure them together. This is what I've been working on all weekend. Winwoes is fighting like a beast, so I'm having to learn new things to get this going. And of course the initial design My services are always for hire, too Thats fucking cool man? Whats your av payout?! Not actually mining with this yet, but I have this much hardware already hashing. Around 3-4/day. I expect this rig to hash at 4.5mh/s

I see them on eBay: http://bit.ly/1ec3kysNice, they look like they would be much more durable than the powered 1x pci-e risers that I have. I had to re-solder a couple of pins on mine straight out out of the box.

So far I think it will be the same. I was using windows 7 last night and managed to get 735kh/s out of 4 cards. Two constantly show up with error 43, pretty common in windows with more than 4 cards. For a comparison I have two sapphire 280x cards running 1080/1500 that get 750kh/s directly on my gaming PC. These gigabyte cards pull 735kh/s at 1060/1500. I've still more tweaking to do yet though. And where did you buy this housing?
I made it, waterjet cut and formed on a cnc press brake. When you want it right you have to DIY! I've managed to get all 6 cards mining, but still fighting. For some reason scrypt is no go, but I can mine BTC? Ehh, I'll figure it out

I think i can get one for 100$-120$ Well I would hope not, I designed it to be cheap and easy to manufacture II have to check material cost as well as cutting times tomorrow to price these for sale, but I expect it to be much lower than $100ea since I'm making so many for myself Either way, good luck getting one or two of these made for $100-200. I know the manufacturing market well

Thanks! What are the specs on that gorgeous litecoin rig?? in terms of motherboard and video cards you have implemented
The motherboard is a MSI z77A-GD65, paired with a little G1620 ivy celeron. The cards are gigabyte windforce 280x cards. The power supplies are coolmax 80 bornze 1000W, and I'm starting to think they may be inadequate. Going to swap in a evga supernova 1500W supply and see if that helps. I've now managed to get scrypt mining working, but it locks at super moderate clocks. Linux is an exceptional PITA and just removing two cards to test is apparently too much to ask I bought these cards because I could get them at about $20 more per card than 7950's. I've managed 750kh/s on 280x sapphire cards at near factory clocks, so I was hoping it would work here. Now I'm thinking I'm going to return the 280x cards and get 7950s instead, like I should have to start with!

The pinouts of most hot swap PSU are fairly standardized, although it can be worked out 'the hard way' if necessary. Also, are you enjoying your 10,000 "plz make me 1 dat shiney case" PM's?
