I really like the stack, and 1.2W/GH from that is pretty impressive! you might find some advantage to run the boards vertically oriented rather than horizontally - it will better force heat upwards and out Good thinking!

Love the flat black look of the case. Thank you for putting it neat and tidily in a Corsair Carbide case instead of slining it in a dirty loft with a couple of cheapo fans pointed vaugely in the apparatus' direction!

In case anyone wants to see how tight a fit two S3's in the smaller Corsair Carbide Air 240 case. Love the flat black look of the case. Thank you for putting it neat and tidily in a Corsair Carbide case instead of slining it in a dirty loft with a couple of cheapo fans pointed vaugely in the apparatus' direction! It's a very nice Setup. The miner stays nice and clean this way and it's tucked away not noticed. Thank you for showing me a case that fits 2 x S3 into it. I find that very useful for a bedroom Hobby Miner Setup I'm considering in the near future.

It's a Dell Dimension 2400 with a Fax/Modem card and a 1/10 Network card. Oh wait you meant the brown stuff? Why that's the special Dell anti-tamper coating which must remain intact and unaltered for any warranty claims to be valid.

what do you guys think about this ? I think 2 things; 1. This is a BITCOIN mining rig thread not Litecoin! 2. I think that's someone else, not you! Why are you digging up posts from over a year ago to criticise? Good question. But I think its safe to say someone with yahoo toolbar was not the user at top.

Hoping to add to this every month [img] a. What's the laptop for? b. Why don't you put the router/switch just on top/beneath of the S3's? PS I like your recycling of the packaging material...

Chances are you would be doing it for fun and not get initial investment back. USB stick miners are a novelty at this point.

Smokers... I replaced a fan on a PC for someone that regularly smoked cigarettes indoors. The computer looked rather similar to that photo.

There's no need for the laptop or a raspberry pi, just a connection to the internet...
