Thanks for a BURST donation Smiley I can't find any related PM or email, so the contributer will be shown as 'anonymous'.

Can't really understand the anonymous donations: You are the hero's of BURST as much as the Dev-team; why not show your so well-needed support? Anyways 'anonymous' is totally fine Smiley

http://burstcoin.info normally.

You can also send your email to burst@countermail.com and we'll include you to the crypto site list we have, who gets everything first.

That's great, thanks.

Hello BURST community !!

Can anyone please guide me on how to create a custom burn address?

Will appreciate your kind help.
bump
0.05 btc to the one who can create it

BURST-0000-0000-0000-0000

That is a burn address.  Could you swap that BTC into burst and send it to the address in my sig?  Thanks!

The addresses use Reed-Solomon encoding, so making a valid address is not that easy.

Good point.. This should be valid though:
BURST-SWG9-PYUU-68QD-BSNEN

This is what is output when you run the account number with all 1s through RS generation.

Generated using: http://www.mynxt.info/account/11111111111111111111

This will do !

The bounty is yours.

Thanks !

Why do you want to burn BURST?

Isn't better to lock them e.g. for 100 years? And then release it to the future miners through the fees?

Simple AT can do that.

Burst 1.2.3

sha256: b0008bc63aab921ef427b6a9c817d8747cd34252560996343c4183ddfb6fad98

Hard fork at block 92000, so all users must update within the next 5 days, but are recommended to update as soon as possible.

This release fixes bugs with ATs and the asset exchange and changes the windows run.bat to a universal one that doesn't depend on java 7.

Thanks!

I just pulled updates from
https://github.com/BurstProject/burstcoin
recompiled
and the server shows
Code:
Burst server 1.2.2 started successfully.

But I see in the logs the 1.2.3 commits.

Its because of its still block < 92000 ?

Looks like I forgot to add the Nxt.java file to the commit. I'll push that right now.

All builds are fine, it's just the version that didn't get pushed, and the posted archive of compiled+source was compiled with and has the correct version number.

Wallet shouldn't even connect to outdated wallets after hard forks to prevent people from abusing version differences.

Just was going to ask about 1.2.2, but I'll update right now.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

After the update I have to download the complete blockchain again Oo
I never had that problem when updating, I always just copied the burst_db folder and my config file over to the new installation.

ok, I'm kinda dumb, everything works as expected.

I had no problem at all , just moved the burst_db folder from 1.2.2 to 1.2.3 folder. Deleted the 1.2.2 folder and started the 1.2.3 - its fully synced...

Thanks for all your hard work, @burstcoin!

Could you please start signing your releases with a GPG signing key? The sha256sum is nice, but it's not enough. I'd prefer not to trust the bitcointalk servers and the root cert authorities when verifying new releases.
