And don't forget that AT enables Atomic Cross Chain Transfers (ACCT) - trustless cross block chain coin swaps.

Professor of crypto has arrived again

seems like something has moved (up) in the crypto landscape, could be because we got NSDAQ official index being traded in 1000+ Bloomberg terminals across the world

Professor of crypto says this is a very good sign, he also says (speaking as if the third party) "street" will get to know "geeks world" which is BURST to some degree, very few outside of bitcointalk understand this world, eventually it will make into the "street" and people will start asking question

"what is the difference between BURST and BTC" on much larger scale than Today.. so by that time BURST block reward will be less , but then cloud services will come to the rescue although at much higher price tags than let say buying few USB WD Tera drives as we have them Today

Professor of crypto says that even if a BURST clone is made who has the energy to keep it up

and example is cryptonight clones.. maaany were produced most are sitting idle nothing is happening, while Monero (which I don't have actually, just an example) took off

Professor of crypto says that there is not real recipe for success other than being persistent

Hi all, today i release a  GUI front-end for dcct tools (with mdcct support too) for Linux systems like Ubuntu 14.04. It's a script  made with bash and Zenity, compiled with shc tools to make it like a binary file. It have AVX2 and SSE4 support.

Easy How-to
  • Download dcct + gui frontend from here.
  • Uncompress it.
  • Double click on "dcct-gui" to start it.
Features
  • Simple front end & very lighweight . Wink
  • Only one dependency: Zenity (Already installed in Ubuntu)
  • Bash binary script (you don't need to run a console for execute it))
  • Choose a DCCT tool from the list, and follow the windows to run it.
  • Plot Burst files without console skills. Plot supports SSE4 and AVX2 by Mirkic7.
  • Mine Burst without console, just select "Mine Burst", write the pool IP and select the plot directories, them Whoala, dcct miner will run.
  • Optimize plots with only selecting the plot file.
Source code + info to compile it

https://github.com/kartojal/dcct-gui

If you find this useful, you can donate me a bit of BURST:

BURST-WYC4-HHV3-UHA2-CVF6S

Ignore the spanish text, it's because my Ubuntu is set in spanish. If you find any bugs, or need help, post it in this burstforum thread !  Smiley

Bitcointalk is working again!  Based on the lack of stuff going on here.. bet most people don't realize it yet.

Also, I am planning on starting some lessons to teach people how blockchain work and all the techy stuff going on in the background.  Free lessons, I'm asking for 5000 Burst per lessons just so that we can technically say "Sponsored by Burst" and try to use this to advertise Burst and draw in techy people.  I've got two people interested so far, who else would be interested?  Thinking I'll start it next weekend.

Looks nice Kartojal!

Vintage horse-racing arcade game

http://bitcoin-derby.com/

I know I've mentioned it before but we've made several design improvements so this is more of a call for feedback than shilling. I get text alerts when people view, play, win so I can keep track.
Now accepts BitCoin - with a view to help expose BitCoin owners to BurstCoin.
Bet limits are 100 to 1000 BURST or 10,000 to 100,000 satoshis.

I didn't do the design (just the back-end coding) but we'd really appreciate any feedback to make it more fun or easier to use.

VOTE FOR

Vote for Burst to be added at Coinomat.com https://coinomat.com/coinvoting.php
Coinomat.com offers bank transfers, withdrawals to Visa/Master cards, and custom debit cards for all the cryptocurrencies on its platform.
On top of that, instant exchanges to all supported cryptocurrencies and e-currencies are available.

Coinomat.com pioneered instant crypto to crypto exchange in 2013 and now also offers various crypto to fiat solutions to provide additional liquidity for supported cryptocurrencies. Coinomat was the first project to offer this and it will always remain our top priority.

Normally, to withdraw to a bank account you need someone to send you the funds from their local bank, so it can be a problem if there aren't many local exchanges happening. Traditionally, transfer costs are a hassle, can cost up to 3% of the amount and take 2-3 business days.

With Coinomat you can easily send funds to any Visa or Master card in the world instantly, with no wait time.

Various fiat exchange features:

- Instant exchanges to all other cryptos on our platform.

- Withdrawal to any Visa or Master card issued by any bank in the world.

*This is a great way to provide your coin with liquidity, especially for users who live in the countries with less crypto exposure.

Crypto purchasing and selling with bank transfer

If you need to buy altcoins with bank transfers it can be a real problem and there arn't a lot of providers out there. We enable our users to load their Coinomat account with a bank transfer and buy any coin we support. To mitigate volatility effects, first the account is credited and only after that, a user can purchase the crypto of his choice.
Transfers from most countries are accepted (except for US)

Withdrawal to a custom bank card

We offer custom debit cards which can be loaded with cryptocurrency and work in ATM's all over the world. Card costs $40 and are delivered within a week after successful order (users need to provide Personal ID and Proof of residence). The card is not tied to a personal bank account and works more like stored value card. After the card is delivered, a user is able to load it from their Coinomat account.

Offering these services, we cover basically all major ways to buy and sell your crypto. Liquidity is what the cryptocurrency scene is lacking at the moment, and providing more fiat liquidity can be a great popularity booster for Bitshares.

Head over to our voting page and get things started!

*Exchange directions provided for supported coins

New simple website for burstcoin

http://burstcoin.sk

The site is to add modules to comments, the page contains download wallet and blockchain (torrent).
Alternatively, you can like the Facebook, at the bottom of the page.
Later add additional modules...

Website Burst pool

URL: http://pool.burstcoin.sk [port 8124]
Recipient: BURST-MLTZ-8D6U-VBUH-FS474

Minimum payout is 100 Burst
Pool fee is 1.0%
Transaction fee is 0.5% (or minimum 1 burst as required by the network)
Payment is instant when pool has positive balance
Share value reduction is 50% per block

Looks nice,  you and irontiga may want to work together on may site.

Btw, I haven't done it yet,  could some one make sure he is linking to a known good wallet build and not a virus?
Btw, 'Built on Nxt', you may want to mention the vast improvements.. such as Proof of Capacity.

Coinomat is definitely pretty awesome.

Would be nice if he would just go ahead and add it,  I'm guessing that he wants to make sure there is interest before putting in that kind of work. He's running a business not a charity and can't just go supporting every coin he sees.. he'said in it to grow his business, not Burst. So I'm sympathetic.

And don't forget that a big promo was done over Twitter using the hashtag $BURST through the nodes of the Viralcoin people. It would seem logical that new players have arrived. Advertising does work when targeted.

No one is coming to Burst no matter how much you advertise it with the market in it's current condition unless they're already invested in it and they just went balls deep further. Guessing this is a Bitladen thing. If they were 'coming to Burst' they would be buying up Burst, not mining hardware with a ROI.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.
