I have the feelings there are UNWRITTEN RULES to obey, like
- don't mine with the same IP,
- don't mine with the same hard disk multiple users,
- don't sell Bursts,
- don't trade with Bursts,
- ... (fill the blanks)
- in fact do not do anything with it,
just DONATE them, and hope that the PR Gods will promote Bursts.

FYI, ANY transaction has a transaction fee attached, and THAT fee is for the miners. Therefore don't STARE at your (thousands/millions of) Bursts, move them instead. If there is no NEED for that, than there is also no NEED for Bursts at all.

I suggest to:
- create shops
- create assets
- create/use/promote AT (like the long forgotten lottery)
- add Burst ads to your email, ... social networks' signatures
- promote Burst's AT ability

... just do it! Don't wait till the PR team has a flash once again. Donate to yourself, but promote now!

Kinda doubt Burst is going to 'die', but there is way too much Burst in circulation so it's entirely possible it may halve again. This is why I mentioned there should be more then one coin that uses PoC.

Since PoC uses relatively little electricity the hash power will probably stay the same. I'm contemplating selling my HDs at the moment as it was a bad idea to invest all in on one coin, but I really don't want to take the 30% hit on of reselling them. ROI right now is completely out the window.

Everybody is holding and it's slowly dying. Don't dream it's gonna jump to 300 overnight. It can only happen if there is action on the market.
I said this 2 months ago, everybody was dreaming to sell it @300 back then. Now, it looks like was right, unfortunately.

So all holders (many miners included here, I assume)  dump some coins, and put a buy order. If everybody did that, we'd be well. We need action. If no trades happen, coin is dying.

And there's the other issue of fast decreasing block reward. If block reward decreases faster than the BURST/BTC value increases, it's bad news. And the value keeps decreasing!
The only reason I'm still mining BURST is because there's no other PoC coin yet. I plan to make one though, and hopefully other people will make PoC coins also.

If there were other PoC coins, many miners would have left BURST for another, and then without miners the coin is completely dead.

I hear many people criticizing me that I mine to get profit. Well, duuuuuh!!! That's why anybody mines. And thus far I ended up mostly holding.
BUT I DO SOMETHING for the coin. I MINE. I mine a lot. I do a lot for the coin. Without hashpower the coin is insecure (open to 51% attack) and therefore dead, or ready to die at any time.

Yes, features boost trading, but still we have to trade it in order to have something to boost.
So don't hold all, trade some. And most importantly after you sell, place buy orders. This puts pressure on the traders, they can no longer wait for the price to drop.

poloniex and bittrex are great assets this coin has. sadly we are not using them right.

Why aim so low, dice games are everywhere. We need something a bit more.

The smart contracts is really awesome.

It's not aiming low, it's just one of several possible starting points.
The reality is that most people will not be using smart contracts, no matter what cool features it provides.
People want to be able to swap burstcoin for other things, just like they do with a fiat currency. Nobody wants the actual paper (fiat), they want the stuff you can buy with it.

Important update regarding this asset which I have maintained for over almost two years. I don't have time to put into the payments of dividends and the original idea was that this asset was a mini version of the ByteEnt asset at a ratio of 100/1.
Not much trading takes place and the asset holders are pretty much constant holders so I've decided to swap over the ByteEMini assets for the actual ByteEnt asset on the same basis they were purchased 100/1.

No more dividends will be paid by this asset. Asset holders need to transfer their ByteEMini assets to BURST-N8KB-DKKW-9C4W-AF289 where they will be exchanged for ByteEnt assets at a ratio of 100/1. If you don't have a round number transfer what you have and I'll round up your amount so you get the correct number of ByteEnt.

Erm... It's not just about selling, it's about buying too. Burst doesn't have enough demand to support everyone selling. If all the holders sold, the coin would crash. That's why it was so profitable for so long to mine, because a lot of people were holding. There is a LOT of Burst in circulation right now being held by people.

The coin price right now is what happens when the holders start selling. There isn't enough buyers. Selling and buying will just encourage more dumping unless you're buying more then you're selling.

Yes, people may leave the coin for another if there is more then one PoC coin. That's what happens when there are choices. It doesn't mean the coin is any less dead if another doesn't exist, it just means the technology has more then one home and wont die out with one coin (if the coin dies). Right now all the eggs are in one basket. Every major algo has more then one coin associated with it EXCEPT PoC.

Mining for the sake of 'security' is a self serving excuse. The coin would be fine without massive hash power much as it was before it had it. Also this is different from what you said a month ago when you were saying you hold all your coins and don't sell any. Perhaps the reason the market is crashing right now is because of you as I predicted a month ago? Burst was being propped up by a bunch of miners holding hands and not selling. You get one big miner who decides to start dumping and the coin goes with it. Good job bro.

The coin still really has massive usability problems. You can't even make smart contracts without a lot of work. The wallet is a hassle to use and if you want to start mining you have to jump through a ton of hoops to do so. Many PoW coins have a simple 'mine' button right on the wallet. Obviously it doesn't work very well, but it still has it. I'm sure PoC2 will help with plot generation times, but right now it's a fairly complicated and very long process.

The price will follow ByteEnt shares at the diluted ratio because its the same thing essentially.

If ByteEnt transferred into a new or some other asset, Mini holders would have ownership of the new asset
just as if they were holders of the ByteEnt. This is just a dilution of the original shares 100 to 1.

100 Mini shares = 1 ByteEnt share

I expect overtime that ByteEnt shares will increase in value and my pricing strategy will become more obvious
for example if ByteEnt rises to 400 and ByteEMini will then be 4 burst per share. A lot more affordable to the average
wallet holder.

It also is good to have more assets no matter what, just use the system.

BURST isn't going anywhere, so yes, I too suspect that over time his asset will make more sense.

Also, ByteEnt is DEFINITELY not going anywhere. That asset will never die, will never change, it will never do anything but go up in % being paid out.



Right now people are losing faith, but that's fine, it weeds out the people who don't believe in the coin. Let them go.

I know what is in store, and even if it doesn't come immediately, it will come.


Take a look at BTC, do you think there weren't many times in its life where people said "this is dying, this is dead" etc? Hah. Laughable.


There are still many big things going on, albeit not as fast as some people might like, but that's life.



Take this as a time to accumulate a TON of everyone's favorite coin. That's what I'm doing.


BURST has always been a more long-term coin. If you can't see that, then dump and get out. But I truly believe that the people who are here, sticking it out when the price is low and people are naysaying, THOSE are the ones that in the future will be very very pleased, just like the early adopters of BTC that didn't cash out to buy pizza.
