Hi dev! So what is currently going on for bits? We have seen lately huge volumes for bits on polo! Anything related to that?

Our main focus is getting things ready for batl currently also working out the best way to move bits codebase.  Hopefully we will have some news soon.

I'm currently reinstalling a master node server and reinstalling the website after a server failed, this should be completed today.

Blockexperts has also losed sync three days ago. Possibly related to master node being down?

It's not down yet, syncing up new one to take over while we reinstall that server

Can we have the latest fast start pack uploaded?

The one you posted last time doesn't work. (tried downloading it twice)

Thanks!

Been doing some testing, now synced 2 windows wallets from scratch they had about 15 peers each, and now half way through 2 Linux resyncs.

May be worth deleting your peers.dat

Will reply more if I see anything odd, but so far so good

I deleted peers.dat and I get the same error once again
http://image.prntscr.com/image/75586e0a8b23419e8066aa5826874171.jpeg
At the back, wallet shows fully synced and two lines of connections ( don't know how many as I Cannot hover my pointer there)
But once I click the OK button, the wallet closes.

That means the wallet is actually still running in the background, you need to go to task manager and kill it or you can reboot your computer

Of course, what os version are you using? as the faststart pack is dependent on the libboost version being used.

Hi, I have found my wallet that I had since 2 years ago, a wallet.dat file, I would like to download the client and sync it to stake some coins but im too paranoid to downloaded to .exe from mediafire website.

How do I compile the source code in windows?

Can someone answer this?

I also want to recover my wallet.dat file, but how the fuck are you trusting an exe in some media sharing website? Theres not even a hash to confirm its the same file that the OP uploaded.

So tell us how we compile the code?

Send the file to www.virustotal.com
It will give you the hash

I know how to get the hash of a file, but OP has not posted what the original hash should be to check it so its useless.

Anyway I installed it on a laptop that's empty, it's syncing nicely, its been 2 days of download tho and im still at 70%.

That sounds about right, its a large chain as we have a 30 second block average
