Many people say this is a dead cat bounce but didnt it already happen when it went from

0.00207000 to 0.00268282 and all the way back to 0.00200000

If there's a way to make a dead cat bounce more than once, I don't want to hear about it.  Conclusion:  its ALIVE!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

lmoa only if you really sold, guess those developers beat you to it along with rpietila & truecryptonaire. The GUI wallet is postponed because there is nothing but copy paste in their work if this is out then what?!; you have spammers like Smooth gamblers like Othe & Fluffypony with no vision of coding skills. Your best way to get out now is to spam like the rest of them and hope you really get out in the next pump.

Just to correct you on one thing. The official GUI wallet is not postponed, it is under active development as stated in the project proposal. More here: https://forum.getmonero.org/9/work-in-progress/2476/the-official-qt-gui-project

If you are looking for other GUI wallets you can find them here: https://getmonero.org/getting-started/choose

I know it's "under active development" for two years now I am just saying that you are postponing it's release to milk out more people out since it is YOUR prize development for last two years. Adding copy paste useless commits to create the illusion of a very active development is old news now and the reason for you and your colleagues not releasing it sooner is because there is nothing else coming after that. It is as if you guys came up and pretended to be active developers yet all you did was simple coding skills with copy pasting all the way down.

There is no "dev team".  There is a community of people working on various aspects of the coin.

I've been keeping the repo up to date.
NoodleDoodle likes to optimise his miner.
TFT started the fork and also assists when things break.
othe's been working on a GUI.
zone117x has been working on a pool.

It's a decentralized effort to maintain the fork, not a strawman team of leet hackers who dwell in the underbellies of the internet and conspire for instamines.

Also please comment how you've managed to miss the fact that RingCT, adaptive fee calculations, multisig transactions, and i2p integration will be happening? How is nothing coming after the GUI?

According to this guy TacoTime Othe been working on the GUI since at least May 14th 2014?!! and you telling me it's not finished yet, people here don't get me I don't care about the GUI wallet I am saying it is POSTPONED until now for a reason which means if they wanted to release it a year a go they could.

@ GingerAle please don't act like Monero developers created ring signatures it was the Bytecoin guys so yes I really now think this coin is nothing but big bag holders of like +100k Monero's trying to get out at highest places "+0.003" with GUI hype along with spamming competitors.

I can only assume your trying to get even cheaper coins. That taco quote may 2014, pre 206 whatever attack. I said ringct, not ring signatures. Did bytecoin develop ring confidential transactions? No. Did monero invent confidential transactions? No. Did monero invent ring SIG's? No. Did monero invent ring CT? No. Shen made that happen.

Bbbbboring

According to this guy TacoTime Othe been working on the GUI since at least May 14th 2014?!!

He may have worked on one in 2014, but he clearly stopped working on it. Being volunteers, people work according to their available time and interests.

There was a bounty funded by a number of us in 2014 which successfully produced four GUIs in early-mid 2014 which were available and for a time listed on the web site "choose-a-wallet" page. Those weren't maintained so most were eventually removed from the page, but the lightWallet GUI wallet (still maintained, now on version 2) is still there.

That is how decentralized open source projects work. If you want to contribute and have relevant skills, you are welcome too.

XMR will not be accepted by anyone but true risk takers and innovators. Maybe we are going down for a while... is difficult to say, but long term this is gold... or plutonium. Turn off the noise and enjoy the ride, fellow monerojodler.

That's the unfortunate situation we face as users of this fluffy atomic cryptoresin we know and love. However, I would love a new dip into 20k territories to load up the tank...  Grin

BTCWisdom seem broken. It is not broadcasting the prices correctly, since 3h it draws flat prices in all coins, inside the exchanges you get the real working graphics.

Mehh I'll stop coming to this forum, been posting here for few months now and I already seen so much negativity all over this alt section. Sorry for bothering anyone here it is just that in every coin I invest I see Smooth comes with the same supporters attacking the same thing over and over against ETH/DASH/Sonearo...

I am just a normal dude so yes I am just a human I do mistakes just like the rest of you here; peace to you all and sorry for bothering It's better for me to not get involved in this drama non sense have a good day.

Sonearo...

I don't even know what that is, and I've never posted about it (and only rarely about ETH).

But let's try to stay on topic on this thread and discuss Monero. This is not a thread about 'negativity' and whether you think crypto should be full of smiles and flowers and campfire songs.

Not sure if you intentionally feigned ignorance, but I'm pretty sure Sonearo is a mangling of Monero, intended to evoke So-near-o, as in the GUI will be out any time now, it's so near (o).

Same answer though. I don't even really know what that is, beyond some vague thing about social media. No idea how it was launched, what it does, etc. Never looked at it.

No matter. Monero still near all time high market cap. Good news for a 2 year old coin.

A competing social network for maskcoin or jambox or w/e hes calling it now. Hes trying to imply that you and Shelby intentionally gang on together on things maybe?

I dont know, but it seems like you broke the fella so i guess we probably wont know
