I am hoping for a drop to 650k.  I will be all-in at that point.

Yea. Screw bitcoin and its non-fungibility and politics preventing any solution. I don't expect a significant drop but I'm hoping too.

Yes indeed, however its not like they couldnt have dumped elsewhere. I expect when we break 888888 SAT again - we will then break 1,000,000 SAT and from there 1,200,000 SAT - from there 1,500,000 SAT  - from there 2,000,000 SAT - then 2,500,000 SAT - At the 2.5 MILL SAT mark we can all pop bottles and celebrate as our money will keep rising higher from there .. I expect 2.5M SAT to be this years floor AT LEAST

Other exchages XMR is listed on have low volume so someone wanting to sell large had to wait for Poloniex because that is where the highest volume is.

XMR deposits and withdrawals on Poloniex are now enabled. We will see the impact on the price this has. It is far from clear if this is bullish or bearish.

C'mon folks, we need more manic exhuberance, or they won't short it down.  I want to hear some chitchat about world domination and new global elite...  Or don't you want your bids filled?

I'd say the 50,000 BTC 24 hour volume traded is a confirmation of a bullish signal blowing past 0.005

My gut feeling says we're heading towards 0.012.

We're clearly in the middle of a profound change.

I think your guy feeling is wrong but good luck to you if you are invested and plan on selling some at .012

Perhaps.

But of the several years I've been frequenting this thread I can't think of any occasions where I have been wrong as yet.

You mean you've not been wrong even once in the last few years on your price predictions of xmr. Not even once?

I do want my lowball bids filled and have been impressed that price only dropped to .0075 and seems stable. Polo enabled XMR deposits and withdrawals two hours ago now.

To clarify I was referring specifically to the enabling of deposits and withdrawals on Poloniex and not the overall market behavior over the last couple of days.

What we have seen over the last couple of days is the reason why fundamental analysis matters and why the market does not always reflect all the information that is available. The price of Monero in terms of Bitcoin had been in a trading range between 0.0009 XBT and 0.0043 XBT for close to two years, while a host of very critical fundamental factors in Monero have improved markedly. A combination of the emission curve and a policy of the Monero project, which by the way I support 100%, of focusing on the critical fundamentals since the project's inception created a situation where the bullish pressure just built up over time until "all of a sudden" boom. While this is of course very positive for Monero the process is comparable to an earthquake or a dam bursting. A gradual build up of pressure followed by a sudden release of energy.

As far as I see the market will likely now go through a process price discovery which over the short to medium term could be very difficult to predict, making this a treacherous market for short term traders. Over the long term the fundamentals have not changed, what has changed is the market's awareness of Monero's fundamentals.

The trading volumes over the last couple of days are a very much a game changer. We are talking in the neighborhood of 30% of Bitcoins's entire daily trading volume accounted by Monero alone. These kind of trading volumes are typical for a coin with 50x the current market capitalization of Monero.

It is interesting that the original "I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite" was partially premised on the "scale of the black market."  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=12156.0

So, what are you guys going to do with your monero wealth once your coins hit upwards of $10,000 a pop?

And should we start to plan a Monero $100 or $1,000 party?  Can we do it at Malla, even if it appears Risto is no longer in Monero?

Malla can comfortably host about 20 guests, so I'd like the party held so that everyone fits in who is able to come.

$10 perhaps?  Cheesy
