I think from this point XMR and Litecoin will level up each other , not long ago they were at the same level. It is quite embarrassing that XMR has dropped to half of value what it was 3 weeks back, nevermind i made 57% profit on this but forgot to sell my XMR when it was all time high.

85.76 $ now, seriously...joining LTC rally.

3 weeks ago XMR was $93 and now is $85  is that half less or is less then 10%?
LTC price was 3 weeks ago same as now so $54

To bad you had not exchange all your XMR 3 weeks go to LTC. But if you would do perfect swaps all the time you would be billionaire long long time ago. But I am sure there was a coin that preformed way better then LTC in last 3 weeks, like Stelar or NAV or Verge.  so even if you would do this swap you could hit your head in wall why oh why I did not rather made swap with stellar.

Just take it easy and look what you had done in last year or two. Sit back and enjoy.

Bitcoin will have its hardfork at block 494784.
https://www.coindesk.com/block-494784-segwit2x-developers-set-date-bitcoin-hard-fork/

If block time is about 10 minutes it will take about 25 days to reach that block.

And now people are selling alts to buy bitcoin. And every alt is decreasing. Do you think alts bear market will last as long as fork happens?

Well you see how confusing Bitcoin is.  You are talking of second hardfork. The first one Bitcoin Gold should happen tomorrow. The new cryptocurrency is expected to form after the hard fork split on block 491,407

None. The bitcoin forks creating "new money" is like FIATS. Bitcoin and cryptos are ending cause forks make them like another FIAT - with unlimited possibilities to create "money" or "value". This is bullshit and what you are observing is the BTC bubble end. And with that ALT bubble end. Greed destoryed another idea. It will ressurect maybe in few years... unfortunately controlled and enslaved...

You are wrong, at the end there will be just one Bitcoin left... BCH is already going down the drain.

Yeah, I think it's more that alot of peops are banking on the 2x to fork. anyone that even looked into that gold crap can see that ridiculous premine added and would be a fool to buy any. It will probably just get a little pump by the gold scammers and then they'll dump the premine on the punters. Smiley

Tha BTC 'snapshot' is around, about - ten hours' time...

After that do you not expect a corresponding alt bounce?

Hopefully a massive drop beforehand - some people will not realise and still be selling after snapshot and hold out until the 25th - good opportunity for some wealth transfer =D

Which will be more significant hardfork. Bitcoin Gold or Segwit2x?

is there a list of exchanges that will be handing out bitcoin gold?

Only a couple of shitcoin and scam exchanges.

To my surprise Bittrex has announced yesterday that they will support bitcoin gold, also yobit is supporting bitcoin gold.

Quote
If you have a Bitcoin (BTC) balance on Bittrex during the BTG snapshot block 491,407 occurring approximately on October 23, 11pm PT (6am UTC), you will be additionally credited the equivalent amount of Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on a 1:1 basis. i.e. 1 BTC on Bittrex held during the on-exchange snapshot will get you 1 BTG.  BTC held on orders will also be credited.  Only the BTC held on your account is eligible for BTG.  Full details below.

Bitcoin Gold [BTG] is a proposed digital asset.

At this time, the information and codebase presented by the Bitcoin Gold team is not in a functional state and Bittrex will not commit to opening a Bitcoin Gold trading market.

Bitcoin Gold intends to perform a wallet balance snapshot at Bitcoin block 491,407 but the actual Bitcoin Gold network will launch publicly at a later undetermined date and time (the only guidance is the statement "after the launch on Nov 1").

Bitcoin Gold does not currently have:

    Fully formed consensus code
    Implemented replay protection
Adequate code for testing and auditing
    Publicly known code developers

Bitcoin Gold codebase also contains a private premine of 8,000 blocks (100,000 BTG). Please be aware that if a market does open there is a possibility of the developers selling their premined BTG on the open market.

When considering adding tokens to Bittrex exchange we look at the risks involved. Bitcoin Gold does not satisfy our criteria for safety for our users. Taking a snapshot of the Bittrex exchange Bitcoin wallet is also a large disruptive undertaking that requires over 24 hours of preparation (Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals are also suspended during this time) and should not be taken lightly.

Bittrex will close deposits and withdrawals of Bitcoin 24 hours prior at block 491,263 to the BTG snapshot block 491,407 occurring approximately on October 23, 11pm PT (6am UTC). If any BTC deposits you had sent to Bittrex are not settled (e.g. marked as pending) by block 491,263 you may not be credited with BTG. The wallet will remain closed until the on-exchange snapshot is complete. Trading will remain active during this time.

Bittrex will make all reasonable attempts to credit our users BTG but until we have a fully supported wallet, we can neither guarantee tokens or consider creating a market. We will continue to monitor the state of the codebase and network. We'd also like to encourage the BTG development team to reach out to us.

https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002320451-Statement-on-Bitcoin-Gold-BTG-

This says nothing about supporting shitcoin gold, it just says you will be credited you don't have to withdraw. It actually states the exact opposite! Whether it gets listed is anyones guess and it will of course depend on what happens on those shitcoin exchanges I'm sure. So you should choose your words more wisley in the future unless your just rying to shill that shit.
