Going to dump the rest of my Monero, there are just too many other upcoming privacy coins that will steal marketshare from xmr.  It was a good run but everything must die in the end. Just make sure you are in the new coins before its too late.

It seems you're not the only one, there is a big dump of monero these days and it's hard to see why. GRIN hasn't established itself yet and it has a high emission. The technology isn't even proven unlike monero which has lasted for years

Its probably all the coins polo stole.

Hmmm, I doubt you would bother posting this is it were true.

Yup seriously.  It's just obvious sh*t posting or he actually did sell...  With a loss.  And now it feels like he needs to troll the thread now.  Lmao.

Sorry for your loss kid.

Grin is already doing 20million daily volume, no one here is the least bit concerned of grin taking market share away from monero?

Market share in terms of... exchange volume? That’s not where we compete.

Nope. Grin is fair launched open source project. They will deserve any market share they will get.    I understand you made this account just to troll, but such trolling really makes no sense. With 99% of crypto projects that were made just for a money grab crypto is very lucky to have at least few as are Grin and Monero.

Point is to get best digital cash. It dont really matter what will be named or who will develop it or whatever. It matters to work as good as possible. So far Monero is on an amazingly  good track.

appendix:

A lot of people are new here, I've seen coins in the past that used to be in the top 10 fall to basically nothing.  I don't think Monero is anywhere close to BTC.  Most experts consider monero to be a shitcoin.  There seems to  be good support around $20 levels at least so it may be awhile before it goes down to single digits.

Monero is a shitcoin, don't be left holding bags

Don't fall for the stupid hype.  This is just another altcoin that will die out while bitcoin remains the king.

Monero is a shitcoin, convert this shit to bitcoin and other promising alts before its too late.  I dumped my monero bags, this coin has no future.

sell before its too late, this shitcoin is going back under $10.

Dump this shit before it falls down to $5

I feel bad for the suckers that bought this shitcoin.

I converted all my monero to bitcoin and other alts.  Quite frankly, I don't think Monero has a bright future.  There are too many competing privacy projects that have better tech.

Guys (or one guy probably) I so much believe in your generic statements about monero. Please, go on, at least you adding to posts count in thread,

How long are you going to bag hold man? All the way down to $10?, Don't be irrational, should of sold a long time ago, this shit went parabolic and this bear market is going to keep grinding while more people dump.  The inflation rate is still high and miners are constantly dumping everyday.  Don't be shocked if we see 5-10$ levels again.

If anyone here is a troll, it is you.  Nice scam gambling casino signature you got there buddy.

I just don't see it surviving,  Maybe you should go back and take a look at the top 10 coin list in 2013-2014, how many of those coins are still around?

Guess we’re lucky not to be in the top 10 right now then.

2013-2014 is very broad period. If you take first and then last week of 2014, then basically top 3(or4) survived - BTC, XRP, LTC.
https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/
Monero was 18-n in last week of 2014 and moved higher since then.

Concerned?  Nope.  It's just another opportunity to trade and profit.  Everybody should be happy imo.  So I hope it does go up at CMC.

But what do you mean by 20m volume?  Coins mined a day?  Rofl.  I don't think the price is gonna hold then.

Some dumper dumped 7 or 8 K of coins earlier

BTC seems to be waking and into its pumper, I wonder if the XMR dumper knew that was coming.

Interesting.

Interesting.

Most alts, including monero, are outpacing BTC, so doesn't seem they got that good of intel if that's the case.

So what's with this rise in the last day or two? Some favorable news I've missed, or a bull trap?

Bitcoin moved. Why? Maybe it was just to steady lately. There were not that many so sharp price increases in last 2 months. But still were some so most likely was no reason.

It just so happened to coincide with a Wall Street rally, so I'd bet on Asian and American investors feeling like they have more funds for high risk investments due to improving US/China trade negotiations. It was market wide, so a single coin's news seems less likely, but crypto is weird, so I don't dismiss it outright.

Maybe the market has finally soaked up the suppression and the Institutional money has gotten their bags ready?

What's still mind boggling to me is that people are still considering whether Monero is a good investment around this price range.  We were at this price back in early 2017 when the GUI was first coming out and there was a speculative pump going on during Fluffy's "pre-announcement announcement".

There is so much more underlying tech and research going on.  Remember, it's the same kind of things that make good long term tech stocks good long term choices... those stocks that invest their "money", in this case (because Monero is a decentralized project) "effort", more into the Research & Development (R&D) rather than into investing it in marketing/hype/buying more of their own shares to pump up their own stocks; are always the best bets in not only in the tech stocks, but a whole lot of companies.  Consider random shit like Gillette razors, or maybe even Under Armour... they invest their money to make sure the things they sell are the best that's available.

7-8k of coins is fairly insignificant in the grand scheme.
