Guys how do i transfer Gemz to Counterwallet.io? Never used Counterwallet before, do i need to create a Gemz token apart from BTC and XCP and where do i get the Gemz address from Counterwallet to transfer funds to?
You are using the gems app right ? It's easy you just create your counterwallet ("create a wallet") once you have a wallet you see your public key on the top right of your wallet assets. Then you can just send your Gemz to this address. Let me know if you experience any difficulty I'm sending from koinify and poloniex, i don't see anywhere 'create a wallet' in counterwallet, there is only 'create new address' and 'import funds' which talks about private key import and stuff. A counterwallet address IS a bitcoin address. Just send a counterparty asset to one of your counterwallet addresses, and the asset will show up in that address. So can i just send my Gemz to the address below, "My address #1"? Where will the gemz go when the funds is received, i means should't there seperate Gemz space like BTC and XCP?  I'm pretty sure once you send the Gemz to your counterparty address #1 the gemz will wallet should appear. Try a test of 100 Gemz to make sure, it might awhile for the Gemz to appear, I find that small amounts can take up to 45 mins. |

I'm pretty sure once you send the Gemz to your counterparty address #1 the gemz will wallet should appear. Try a test of 100 Gemz to make sure, it might awhile for the Gemz to appear, I find that small amounts can take up to 45 mins.
I successfully received Gemz and it's wallet appeared in Counterwallet but there is a lock icon on it and when i click 'show info' it says on the top "Info for GEMZ (Read Only)" so will i not be able to transfer the Gemz or something or what does this lock mean? |

This is normal... just means no more GEMZ can ever be issued. |

It means no more GEMZ can be issued. You should also have a SEND in the drop down menu which lets you send them to any bitcoin (counterpary) address. |

Seems nice. When does the Airdrop start? And i thought that we could opt out of advertisements and also pay for advertising, i don't really see options for those.
Also, are there any public rooms or something?

Price wise we are just on the launch pad. I bought a lot of my Gems at much higher prices than this but I still don't regret buying a single one. I think WHEN the app gets really going the price will rocket...any day now. |

I had to uninstall the app, at least temporarily, because it is using way to much data. Last month it used almost 2GB of data, while I maybe open the app once per day to send a few messages. Are you guys fixing this problem?

So yeah I think the Airdrop is the real catalyst so new joiners can see they can get gemz, otherwise they can't really find out what is actually great about using the app. I think all should fall into place soon. The point is to get the app going viral, that takes time like most messenger apps and a bit of luck and good mainstream press too. |

You forgot the attention economy of course, but it seems that it will also be possible with airdrop and referrals having Gems giveaways, since it will allow sending Gems through broadcast. |

Yes, it is...and you're fortunate enough to pick up some at about the same price as the initial ICO price. The funny thing about GEMZ's chart is that the initial ICO price of 5000 satoshis has been a really durable support level. In all these months, it's been really hard to buy any at below 5000. But GEMZ requires patience: it's a lot like waiting for the arrival of a baby. You just gotta wait. |
