^ I agree on everything man, the app is killing it. Can someone explain this feature? i don't get it Request Money Functionality
This update expands the functionality of ‘Request Money’. Until now, you could only copy your address to the clipboard or let someone the scan QR code. This update lets you add the value of the request. Send it to contact with a tap or share the request link on other platforms. It is possible to encode the amount you want someone to pay you into a Bitcoin QR code with the address. For example, if you go to a store, they put a QR code up, you scan it and it not only fills in the merchants address, but the amount due. So, the getgems "recieve" now allows embedding an amount with the address in the QR code. |

I don't know if anyone noticed but the update and store is on iOS now as well. I used it on my iPad as my phone is not playing well with the app, messenger apps kind of suck on iPad I've always thought. Still it looks great and am looking forward to the airdrop when it does come. I'm liking the little ways to get gems, its makes the app more interactive, even the daily drop however small is a nice thing, it makes you feel like you are earning something even if its like only 1 cent.  I do want the airdrop to be based on how much we own etc, in fact I personally have a lot of gain from that system. BUT the idea of getting a small amount of daily coins should always be part of the app long term I think. I think once people see oh I'm getting like 10cents a day or even more they can connect to idea they are making something and also young kids will love the idea that they can make what is pocket change to most of us but for them is like wow I can get a Starbucks voucher every month or whatever if I save these gems. This is the core of Getgems, thats why its not really the airdrop as such that I'm excited about its people receiving money for doing essentially nothing, or seemingly so. Even now the app could quickly go viral just on the daily bonus as the value of 1 gem increases. Once I get the app working on my phone I'm gonna start inviting I think, almost everything is in place now with the daily bonus. |

how soon/quickly do the referral rewards come in?
I had two people use my link from the new app, and I show no referrals in my settings.
Also, after they joined, and I went to a chat with them, it said "You sould invite this person to GetGeams."
Not sure what that's about.

The referral reward is instant once the new user completes the login process [make sure the users you have invited upgrade to the latest version]. The message should pop-up only when you chat with a Telegram users, we will look into it. Is it possible to have my RealName show to people that have my phone number, and my Username only show to people that don't have it?
Currently its not possible, but you can edit your display name at the top of the setting tab at anytime. |

1. How is Gems going to handle price fluctuations in the store? With the price of Gems right now the $10 card costs $16.
2. Are there going to be more stores for people outside of the US to use? Using a VPN is not an option for everyday people. Stores for people in Europe, Asia and Canada?
3. Why does the air drop keep getting postponed? There has been a couple of times now you said it would be released with the next live release and so far there have been a couple of live releases and no air drop.

In regards to the store prices as we all know the price of cryptos can change a lot, in order to change the store prices will there have to an update to the wallet which would require a download of the app each time or is there some way to have the price automatically adjust with the value of the Gems price? Once Gems is more mature there shouldn't be much movement in price but at first it will be very volatile and it will be a pain for not only the Gems devs but for it's users as well if there are frequent updates. |

We built the store with flexibility in mind - we are able to change prices and add gift cards without needing to push updates. |

I'm not a Twitter user so I might of misunderstood how following works but after your comment I was curious about how many they were adding, so I took a screen shot, maybe about an hour or so ago. I looked back at the photo and it showed around 400 followers.....now it shows 700! I think this app is slowley starting to snowball. I mentioned this app of a few forums and got like 500 views, people who normally wouldn't be into crypto, I think if people have forums they use for various reasons they should mention the app. |
