What happened? Blockchain said that block was Kano's now it says Antpool?
Block 406198 is Antpool Block 406197 is Kano with already 2 confirms It is now at 6 confirms but it does say Antpool on both Blocktrail and Blockchain...mmmm. Maybe Antpool is off on their own fork with this one!

Any way for anyone to customize a full bitcoin node so all who would wish could patch their own core full node with patches that would not propagate this type of antshit block hijacking..

if this is a fork would be good to know so we can get off the bad path and not lose time mining for 0.

It is more than likely an orphan. Kano's website is keeping to what Blockchain is reporting in regards to time since last block and number of confirms.
When Kano wakes up I am sure he will give let us know what happened, but it is absolute bulls**t that we got orphaned when we relayed first.

The antpool needs to change its ways or suffer a horrible faith..
As long as they keep making hardware and people keep adding to their pool their is nothing one can really do other than spread the word.

If you own a bitmain S5/S7 that you bough brand new from bitmain and you are mining with it then you have absolutely ZERO place to complain about antpool and their empty blocks - you are part of the problem What we need is a solid company to manufacture and put out a super efficient miner lineup and give Bitmain a run for their money. Competition is what will put them in their place.
Well that's easy, it exists already and is called Caanan Creative and they have a miner called the Avalon 6 that is just as efficient as the S7, is quieter and cooler, and costs basically the same. Don't blame the manufacturers, blame the people that support them. Competition exists, people vote with their wallets. Sadly most people make decisions solely based on their wallets as well. If you are looking for a quality miner that is faster and cheaper than the S7 who would you expect to be able to undercut a massive Chinese company already producing a cheap product (cheap in cost and fit/feel)? That's about as low operating costs as you can come.

I also bought an A6 at a significant premium versus the S7 (with current coupon push). I am all about voting with your wallet, but I made a decision that I would sacrifice ROI for principle and that isn't an option for large mining operations.

S7 is dogshit when it comes to reliability, and it consumes more power than they advertise. Bitmain is complete shit, take it from someone who owns hundreds and hundreds of their machines. Do yourself a favor and buy Avalon's. Superior in every way.

Well, I do understand the feeling about Bitmain. I'm a small miner...when I'm maxed out on power, I'll be running a little over 16Th. I just ordered 2 S7s from Bitmain, Batch 16 (one fan). I would have preferred to go with Avalon, but logistically it didn't make sense in my specific situation. They cost twice as much (as what I had to pay Bitmain with a coupon), and produce a full Th less than the S7; yes, it's on 1050 watts v. 1300w, but even 1050w basically takes a full 20A 120v circuit, unless you piggyback two S3s to get another .9Th. So...,you've got 4.6Th from the circuit. With an S7, you can run one S3 with it, and get around 5.1Th. Those were the factors I had to look at, since I've got just four 20A circuits to work with. When Avalon is able to put out a unit that is just a bit heftier, and it made economic sense (or an S7 bites the dust), I'll move over.

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

well 1000 watts @ 120 volts is 9 amps, also Bitmain specs for the S7 any batch is for an ambient temp of 25 degrees C. that is a hard target to meet anywhere south of the mason-nixon line Edit: that's 77 Fahrenheit
