This guy is spending 5 BTC per day for a 10THs rental...He could buy 2 Avalon6's per day with that much BTC! That is 0.5000 BTC/TH/Day...I hope it's not anyone here on kano...if it is, delete that order ASAP!! maybe he is mining a altcoin that just started and is speculating a spike in price once more people mine the coin but that price is crazy what I don't get is why don't they just do a fixed order. no reason to spend .5 when you can spend .003 ish this is 100% the fault of not nicehash. A simple auto warning code stating you are more then 2x the highest price are you sure you want to spend more the 2x the highest price? Then this would never happen. no-nicehash has been told about this problem and has never fixed it.

They have canceled numerous fixed orders from me set at a low price point because their normal prices have gone more than 10% higher. EFF them.

Sad that poor soul fat fingered the rental. Yesterday someone fat fingered an infinity instead of a 70th at the top price.

Yea, let's say he deposited 1 Bitcoin to run a 10THs order for the max of 15 days...since he was at the very top he's not going to waste his time watching it. Boy is he going to be shocked when he discovers that his small, 15 day 10THs rental runs out of funds in 5 hours!

i have no idea what fixed does vs standard cause im new to nicehash im renting right now on there vs my normal mining rig rental site where i rent
There are a couple of nuances about fixed vs standard orders... Fixed is somewhat protected...they get available hash before the standard orders do... Fixed price is usually higher than the standard orders... Fixed orders are only good for 24 hours where Standard orders can run for 15 days if you keep feeding them coins. Fixed orders cannot be adjusted...with Standard Orders you can adjust price and speed.

If there is any leftover, it goes to your wallet similar to when you cancel your order. I was trying to place an expensive order .034 instead of .0034 this morning by mistake for 500TH, NH was kind enough to ask me if I really wanted to place the order in a pop up window that's when I realized my mistake and typed correct amount.

Yes, it just ends and any leftover funds go back into your wallet...if you click on the tiny chart for the chart details you will see a countdown at the top that shows the lifetime left on the order. It starts at 15 days and counts down to zero. EDIT: Now lets get back on topic...it's time for some Block Friday to get started here on the Kano CKPool!!

This is to whom is having the power company whine about using so much power... I have 400 amp service at my house and when I asked my company for my peak at any time they sent two guys out and looked at my equipment (only 7 s7's) and they asked me what it was for and I said I do heavy online gaming and use those computers to give me the extra edge and acted like a total geek way into games, they promptly said you can run ---- more machines. it is up to them to prove you aren't gaming not you to prove you are. I wouldn't run over 70% of rated load just for safety sake just because I do not trust that others have connected main lines well enough and when I checked my main lines ( at my box) I could actually tighten them and that means that their side may be not tight enough but then again I am paranoid after having witnessed some messy electrical things and fires. I am a late starter in this game but hope to slowly grow.

Grifdogr you are right. Anyone out there with any questions on electrical saftey the main cause on electrical failure will be your tightness or the looseness of connections from the panel all the way to the receptacles to the actual connections to the miner. Im a late starter too, and I like CK's pool, the app, very nice. Hope i can find a block for the team on day. Thanks again everyone.

Fixed orders cannot be adjusted...with Standard Orders you can adjust price and speed. What I really don't like about fixed orders is the fact that you don't get a fixed set of miners for your order. Yes some times peoples miners do switch pools, but the variance is crazy. Give me x Miners for y hash and let it be within a 5% window. If one switches pools, fill the gap. It seems like the number of miners you have on an order fluctuates damn near constantly.

CKDB restart coming up in about 25 minutes Some more updates for the share checking and other various changes. As usual, NO miners will be affected. Just the web page shows lots of '?' for about 10 minutes. It will be when the next shift is summarised, which will be roughly 09:15 UTC
