It's not about how long you were mining, it's about what blocks the pool hit while you were. We did not hit any blocks over the past 2 days until this morning. Once that block matures at 101+ confirmations, it goes into the payout queue with zero transaction fees. When we hit our next block, our pool will confirm that payout and you will get the payment (if you are not at the dust level). EDIT: The zero transaction fees maximizes the amount that goes into the payout pot for each block. It goes to the Kano miners!

Dust is when your earnings are so small that it is not worth the effort to pay it out. I don't remember what level of hash gets you over the dust level but someone using a USB miner at 300GH/s would be earning nothing but "dust" for example.

oh nice i never knew the main pool was in vegas im actually not to far away , i dont dare remote into my data center right now with some of the issues i was having, but when i get over there tommorow ill move some of my farm back onto the pool
not sure how much it will help in finding blocks as my farm is basically all s7 and s5's now
Actually, as long as they aren't S9v1 it's all good here If you do ever get any S9v1, make sure you update them to the v2 firmware if you want to point them here. I'd recommend against updating S9v1 units to the autofrequency firmware as it seems to increase hardware failure. Even Bitmain now states the following: * Attention: do not use this fw on old S9 miners with fixed frequency.and have put up older fixed frequency firmware - which I'm pretty sure is still v1 on the bmminer.

Welcome newbie, I am a newbie too. I also have an s7 and as the other guy said, the number of blocks found doesn't matter if you have an s5 or an s7 or an s9, it matters how lucky the Pool is and when the Pool finds a block. The only thing that differs from an s7 to an s9 is the number of shares you mine and the amount of payout you get once the block is found.

and have put up older fixed frequency firmware - which I'm pretty sure is still v1 on the bmminer.
There's a distinct chance that the posting of that by Bitmain has more to do with dealing with people (and their inexperience issues) than issues with actual rigs.

If you do ever get any S9v1, make sure you update them to the v2 firmware if you want to point them here.
I have several S9's that BITMAIN states should not be upgraded to V2... Are V1 S9's going to be blocked or something? Need to find an alternate pool for the V1's if that is the case.

Bitcoin difficulty is going up crazy ... in the past month is jumped from 310.... to 392... and bitmain start shipping the next batch s9 on feb 20 , that would give much more higher difficulty by the end of February . the current roi on a s9 is a little bit over a year with the US average 10cents/kwh energy price if the difficulty is going up another 100 .... that will add another 6 months for the ROI ...if the btc/usd price stay the same ...

Perhaps it's me and I need to apologies to you guys.
I've been mining on the pool since Thursday and we've only found 2 blocks, prior to me pointing my miners at the pool it looked like things were travelling along quite nicely.
I am sooo glad you are taking the blame. I started Tuesday and I thought I was the reason why Even though I (we) are off to a slow start, from what I can tell and read, I am glad I chose this pool. I am also going to double my Th/s in a about 2 days, when my 2nd R4 arrives..now I am a double sized small home (newbie) miner! It's all good guys! Hopefully we'll be back on track soon. Although I'm starting to have my doubts after the diff jump! . Let's hope that when your second R4 arrives it brings us back some green luck! Well, got my 2nd R4 today and its up and running (although a little hot!). So that means a shorter wait for the next block and guaranteed green luck!!!!

Keno - question for you. Why does the pool wait for 101 confirmations, don't you think that is kind of excessive? I know it makes absolutely no difference since the pool usually won't find the next block before the 101 confirmations anyway, but was wondering if there was a reason for it. I know like antpool has a 5 block wait period which seems more reasonable.

You can't spend a block reward until 101 confirms. (so it's a soon as I possibly can)

Anyway, a none issue, just was wondering. Antpool make a profit off their miners of well over 15 BTC each day in pool mining fees (over $5.5Million a year paid by miners) - so I guess they can afford to pay people in advance Though I have no idea what the 5 confirms you are referring to is - since I don't go near their pool - it's bad for bitcoin. Here also you can see exactly where the BTC goes and where your payout comes from. I send the 99.1% to the pool payout address, then when that is able to be spent/sent (101 confirms) I send that directly to the miners.
