What are the terms of the bond? Minimum? Maximum? Can it be m or ckg? Can any admin process the transaction?

"Bonds" are always in m, so monetary. Private loans can be anything, see previous message. Currently only The Town and The Hypothecary Bank can call their obligations "bonds".

Bond is a coupon that pays a certain amount (here so far always: 100 million) upon expiry, and expiration is in the end of year quoted. When the Bank sells its bonds, it will also quote a BUY rate, so that you can sell the bond back prematurely if you need money sooner. The existing bonds by all issuers are also given a buy quote.

The exact terms of financial instruments can be seen in /F_OWN. Important is whether the issue is backed by the town, or is dependent on the issuer.

Since the bonds are just items that you buy and sell, any admin can process the trade. I think the maximum emission is 20 units (~1,800 mil).

All I wanted to say is that the compensation was not debited because my job was just to get the stone away. You are free to do whatever with it now, including sell it if needed. (The easiest would be if LL pays the owner some agreed compensation, eg. the midprice 133 m/stone).

The company is now emptied so that 1,432,137 m is divided per old share. The investments did not go entirely bad since in the space of 37 years only, which included the dreaded Earthquake, the NAV was able to be increased by 43%, and when the company was still actively operating, it paid yearly dividends as well.

Regarding Clothing

Sir noms has realized that he has multiple suits and it is time to auction one off. Up for sale is a very historic item. This is a blue noble suit that was purchased from Tavastia by myself in an effort to get noble clothes. It was only after selling it to me that Tavastia realized he would be incurring his father's (His Majesty the King) wrath by doing so.

Because of this, the suit not only is ancient and quite valuable as a 1450 suit, and likely a museum piece.  It was also historic because it is a gift from the first King of Crypto Kingdom to his heir.  A rare visit of Dr SS included a conversation about this very suit a day or so ago.  He proposed that the best solution would be to raffle/auction the suit so it could "become owned by a nonguilty and it might find its way to a legitimate museum, perhaps not near the Royal Palace though.."

Additionally, the wearer of this suit will gain all the benefits of wearing clothing later in-game.

Description: "A gift from the King to Zechariah his son. Was used by Zechariah (later: Tavastia) in his introduction in 1450. Later sold to the market."

This suit was purchased for 300m in the late 1500's, and I am putting it up for auction starting at 220m, with "Buy It Now" at 300m.  This is a 24 hour auction, so it ends exactly 24 hours from this post.

Migration of Character Accounts to CK Ultima Platform


General

In the year 1603, the Kingdom will finally be playable in the proprietary gaming software, called Crypto Kingdom Ultima platform. Our centuries-long exile will have been ended.

Meanwhile, the Kingdom has greatly prospered, with 40 Nobles, 100 other PC/Corps, 6 boroughs, 140,000 floor-sqm, etc.

To ensure that the keys to all this (already vast, but hopefully just the seed) wealth are given to the right hands, the following procedure has been decided, and this will overrule everything that has been said previously about this. It may be changed by Town Council vote.

There are currently no Tribe Accounts - every character must be logged in separately when it is played. It is advisable, as always, to use separate password.


Character Account Types

1. Character Account M1

This is the anonymous character account, where no information has been provided to enable access to the account if the password is lost. There is no way to prove identity in this case, which results in the eventual death of the character and sweep of assets if no heir is designated.

2. Character Account M2

This is the anonymous character account, where there are password recovery details provided (eg. email address for resetting password). In this case, the account is not as easy to be lost, but easier to be hacked than in the M1 case (since a breach in any of the reset-password services compromises the account).

3. Character Account M3

A higher security level, against both loss of passwords and unauthorized access. There are manual IRL/online procedures for authenticating the rightful owner of the account regardless of the login, which makes it always possible for you to regain the account. The details are kept secret for security reasons. This is the account for the one who wants to play The Person Known As basis, transcending both the physical and online bureaucracy. (Extra charge.) NOTE: Do not ever buy an account that is in security level M3, because the original owner might have any tricks in place to gain it back regardless of what the new owner does (including change of all passwords).


Character Account transfer procedure

Each character has been determined "rightful owner" credentials (/CHAR "E"). The username for the character account is in /CHAR "D". The password will be given by me to the credentials address. Depending about the size of the account etc., there might be additional security checks involved. (If I or anyone asks security questions about game events etc., just answer them ) The progress and accreditation of the authentication is shown in /CHAR "F"-"G".

Once the account is accredited (/CHAR "G"), the "Credentials" (/CHAR "E") become invalid.


Unclaimed accounts

Character Accounts not claimed in 14 days since the original contact attempt to the credentials, will be put on Wealth Management assigned by the Town. The Wealth Managers do conservative gold and bond investments and correct obvious imbalances (such as no clothes). There is a charge. A character can be claimed using the original credentials until 1617 (mid-December 2015), after which the ownership of the characters passes to the Town. The characters might have died in the meantime, but this does not change the claims deadline. The Town can do to the characters as they wish afterwards.

Great Gifts of Celebration!

Many might remember that more than 2 years ago, all doors were removed from buildings and have been stored in the basement of Arco di Sergiu ever since. The guard who normally patrols outside the building, decided by happenstance to go inside as well, and in a quiet corner, behind the piles of doors, lay a GIANT BARREL! Similar to what they are using in Villa Nova da Gaia. The contents were examined and with the most certainty, the liquid inside is a pre-earthquake wine. We are naming it W1603A, after the year of bottling, because no drink may be claimed to be ancient.

The barrel was so huge that 14,226 bottles were filled. Nobody had laid claim to the barrel, so it was decided that it is a gift to everyone in the Town. The function of distribution took heavily into account the existing stocks of wine the people had (it's fair to give to those who already have the same kind, right?) and a little also the culture accumulated (CULture is always the end-all beneficiary of every goodness). Everybody was given at least 12 bottles to taste.

It is not known yet at all whether the wine is good or not, at least it is already oak-matured...

The CHURCH is giving 600 bottles of free beer to everyone who has declared themselves to be a beer-drinker.

The TOWN is giving 600 liters of free mead to everyone who is a mead-drinker.

The KING is declaring amnesty on all overdrafts and giving 500,000 m playmoney to all accounts that would otherwise have less.
