Has anyone taken a MtGox code?

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

Has anyone taken a MtGox code?

I requested an Mtgox code, but haven't received a payment yet, even though my status was marked as "accurate".
I've just added a comment to my claims page stating that a BTC payment is fine with me as well, including an BTC address.
Hopefully this will speedup my payout.

I have to say though: Things are finally starting to look a little brighter. Keep up the good work!

Yes, some people have already received 50% of their funds. Once all of their customers have received 50% of their funds back, the remaining 50% will be send out. Look on the previous page. People have received payments from this address: http://blockchain.info/address/1Bfsa8rbU99TLMVhVZefZijadATBwfUWCP

So hopefully the large amount of transactions associated with that address means that are paying back quite a few people. There's finally hope and light at the end of the tunnel!

Except if they didn't find your password hash in their "data"base...

No payout here. I sent gox codes, and my entire email history between Bitcoinica and myself back to Bitcoinica and not one reply. I signed up late Feb and my password hash wasn't found. I also messaged  genjix on June 16th and have not received anything back from him as well. I have no idea what my status is.

How is speaking with phantomcircuit on IRC different than emails to genjix ?

Do you have any official channel to report to ? and more importantly, how secure is this channel ?

I haven't received a single message tailored to me yet.

Edit: Had an update from genjix in less than 2 day.

It seems that they are paying out to people with BTC balances first, no word on USD payouts.

Received 50% of my funds as well! I added a comment to the claims page that they could send the BTC directly to an address of mine instead of Mtgoxcode if that was easier for them. A few hours later I received the BTC as an BTC transaction, so it looks like BTC transactions are easier for them right now. So if you are waiting for an mtgox code it might be a good idea to add an BTC address as well.

Thank you very much Genjix! Keep up the good work! Looking forward to the other 50% Smiley

Payouts are being made every 1-2 hours if you look at the transaction data+times from their address (http://blockchain.info/address/1Bfsa8rbU99TLMVhVZefZijadATBwfUWCP), so you'll most likely have to wait just a little bit longer. They seem to be working on it at least! It was also only a couple hours ago that I got my BTC, so let's hope your payment will follow soon! Good luck!

Oh, what's this? I was right again about Bitcoinica that they'd be paying out and everyone who was so busy trashing them is a fucking goon? Yea, big surprise there. When will this community stop trashing that which it doesn't understand? It's like watching the entire world's history on fast forward. Can we get to the 1900s yet?

Shut up, a shitstorm could have been avoided with more professionalism, less blaming one another, clear announcements about paybacks and constant communication. None of this happened.

People wanting to know about their claims status should email:

bitcoinica.reimburse@gmail.com

I set it up so me and Donald can answer queries and have a record we can check, as opposed to my not so good riseup email.
