No where in my post did I even hint at that there are not a lot of guns anywhere. You completely missed the point I was making. Read it again. Guns are most certainly NOT everywhere. Police in certain countries don't even carry guns. Yes there will be guns to be found in most places but they are not as prevalent everywhere like you want to claim. I am from NYC and not once have I ever seen a gun.
I live in the UK and the thought of police officers here routinely carrying guns everywhere (rather than the machine guns they carry at airports) is literally terrifying. It's well known that psychologically many people turn into little Hitlers when you give them a uniform and stick a shiny badge on their chest so giving them a gun to point is ludicrous.

There are hints on another forum about a "failed raid-array". Darn, just like those Lois Lerner emails, I bet. Hard drive failed, and backups are corrupted. Sorry.
I bet that would really fly.....
Didn't Theymos use that exact same excuse with this website about 5-6 weeks ago?

How about people that wear bandanas and stash handguns under their bed so they can feel gangster, how do they make you feel? i am glad we then have people in uniforms and shiny badges, at least their power has some checks and balances we can leverage in comparison

I feel very badly for everone that was caught up in this. Seems many once legit mining equipment sellers havent been forward with customers in there dealings. I hope that all can be made whole on some level, but seems like maybe not.

Once those mining equipment sellers realize they can make much more money by mining with equipment themselves, especially equipment a customer has already paid for, it's pretty much over.
BFL set the standard there that others follow to this day. But GAW certainly set the standard for a release scamcoin - taking WDC's pre-mine, UNOCS pump-and-dumps, and Scharmbeck's "prime investing opportunity" to a whole higher level. What an idea - making money off little PNG images you could move around the screen and press buttons on - all you have to do is to promise the moon and deliver, well, nothing at all, dumping batches of your millions of pre-mined coins each time you told another lie.
Just to remind people of just a few of those promises, so they don't think it was "mere incompetence" that caused all of this, here's a quick list:
Hashlets will "Never expire and always be profitable" - lie Prime Hashlets will be able to mine SHA-256 - lie Prime Hashlets will be the only ones mining XPY PoW phase - lie HashBase - lie AmpStore is coming soon - lie Hybrid-thermal-rubber-rabbit-flux-chain BTC2 capabilities - lie Paybase debit card - lie Paybase Amazon, Target, WallMart and co - lie Paybase BillPay - lie Paybase thousands of merchants on board - lie XPY $20 floor - lie World leading coin development team hired - lie CAF (Coin Adoption Fund) - lie $100 Million Fiat reserve - lie We're moving the market - lie GAW "bought" BTC.com for $1 Million dollars - lie GAW bought ZenCloud for $8 Million dollars - lie - in fact, this is the lie that shows it's been nothing but a scam since the very beginning.
Remember Legendarys limited to 500 - lie Vegas Legendarys only given to those attending Vegas - lie Vegas Legendarys will be the rarest of Legendarys - lie Holloween legendarys will be able to combine into something special - lie Staker Legendarys will only be limited to 100 - lie all Legendarys converted to Stakers will keep their Legendary status - lie all legendarys converted to Stakers will get extra abilities - lie

Oh no - that was not a complete list by any means. You could throw "Anyone with 50 XPY can run an Orion Controller - lie" and so many more items on the list, it would probably take up an entire thread page for just that one post.

No, because they never collected any of that info. the point of that was to kick the can down the road, and give the believers a reason to pump the price up so GAW could dump and not have to pay anything out for a while.

On that note, lets get the definitive list together as there doesn't appear to have been one made Lets turn every rock over and expose everything underneath. As always, let the facts speak for themselves and the rope freely paid out to those that have already used enough to hang death row 4 times over. IF a fact has been GAWxed put it on the list

Well, I can't find anything of the new forum to say that this is a Josh backed site or that team xpy has taken over.
In fact, a few people have asked who is in control etc and the silence is deafening.
I reckon that TeamXPY are just letting users assume that they have taken over and are just enjoying the extra traffic.
Apparently some of the people on hashtalk were fairly gullible and make their own assumptions.
Because when you erase stuff from the interwebs...it is gone for good
