Would you have sympathy for those that built the Death Star? This will be the lesson of your life.

Randal: The second time around, it wasn't even finished yet. They were still under construction.
Dante: So?
Randal: A construction job of that magnitude would require a helluva lot more manpower than the Imperial army had to offer. I'll bet there were independent contractors working on that thing: plumbers, aluminum siders, roofers.
Dante: Not just Imperials, is what you're getting at.
Randal: Exactly. In order to get it built quickly and quietly they'd hire anybody who could do the job. Do you think the average storm trooper knows how to install a toilet main? All they know is killing and white uniforms.
Dante: All right, so even if independent contractors are working on the Death Star, why are you uneasy with its destruction?
Randal: All those innocent contractors hired to do a job were killed- casualties of a war they had nothing to do with. (notices Dante's confusion) All right, look-you're a roofer, and some juicy government contract comes your way; you got the wife and kids and the two-story in suburbia-this is a government contract, which means all sorts of benefits. All of a sudden these left-wing militants blast you with lasers and wipe out everyone within a three-mile radius. You didn't ask for that. You have no personal politics. You're just trying to scrape out a living.

Randal: You didn't ask for that. You have no personal politics. You're just trying to scrape out a living.
Then, you've justified the moderators did no wrong either.

So you guys must have already discussed that the 'Announcements' section on HT has been removed. WTF is up with that? Is this part of Homero's new era of transparency?!?!

It appears GAW has completely deleted their hashlet/hashstaker subsection.

Renamed: Cloud Mining

Use only the numeric part of the URL whenever you have a "Not Found" error. It looks like an attempt to break links though.

Well ManeBjorn has a point: I don't see where he stated directly that he's partnering directly with amazon as opposed to just having purchases routed through it. I think I do remember that there was such statements, but can't find right now.

Ah I found what I was looking for; all part and parcel of his claim of direct relationships and partnerships.

https://archive.today/jx4I4#selection-765.1-765.35

Quote
You tell me, would Wal-Mart disclose a confidential deal they are working on to them?

Here are the actual facts:

First, since most of you did your homework and figured out who some of the partners of our company will be, (since we met with them earlier in the week,) then you can connect the dots on how we're able to connect with large merchants......

Second, I already over-stepped our NDA once by disclosing partnerships, and I won't do it again. All I will say is that if any company announced our partnership, they would be in violation of their NDA with us, too
. We will respect and honor our agreements until the time that we can disclose them.

Paycoin will be able to be used at tier-one merchants, either directly or through a debit card in the coming months.

Quote
You're right. If it's true.

I got called out of a movie with my wife tonight by one of the very companies mentioned in that "article" who was pissed off.

The worst thing a publication can do it make up things without any sources.

What's he on about?  Why this:  Response to the Coinfire "Article" where Amazon, Walmart and Target deny any knowledge of Walter Mitty and his Whacky Scheme.

https://coinfire.cf/2014/11/22/is-gaw-miners-lying-about-partnerships/

So someone in the article, either Amazon, Walmart or Target called him out from a movie pissed off that the NDA Josh has with them was broken by him saying he had partnerships with them. But it doesn't matter because, those referenced in the article "Paycoin will be able to be used at tier-one merchants, either directly or through a debit card in the coming months"

Then we have that self same journalist who scrubbed his site where he interviews Josh who again states these merchants are on board but he cannot say but the journalist was privy under NDA where Walmart, Amazon and Target were specifically mentioned.

We can keep going around in circles here.

Interview with GAWMiners' Josh Garza - CryptoCoinsNews

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/hashcoin-hashbase-will-bring-bitcoin-...

Nov 4, 2014 - Also Read: How GAWMiners' CEO Josh Garza Got Into Bitcoin and Scrypt Mining ..... He has also under NDA given me access to info so I could report ...... Josh mentioned, specifically, Walmart, Amazon, and possibly Target ...

See right there that blurb has been scrubbed from the interview where he states the merchants are on board:

https://www.google.com/search?num=20&q=josh+garza+amazon+nda&oq=josh+garza+amazon+nda&gs_l=serp.3...5617.6939.0.7209.4.4.0.0.0.0.87.321.4.4.0.eprnk,ekomodo%3Dtrue,kpnr%3D100...0...1.1.60.serp..4.0.0.qwzkoxm1uDs&gws_rd=cr&ei=soyrVOrOLMmBygScj4GgAw

And in the comments is an even cuter one. SO where is the investor list?:

Quote
Scott Fargo > Guest  • 2 months ago

The investor list will be released in accordance with the full rollout as required by the banking institutions that are involved.
GAW has been open about that.

Quote
Scott Fargo > Guest  • 2 months ago

He has stated they will be revealed as was requested by the filing and the fundraising.
Yes I have seen information and I am under NDA or I would tell them to you.
If Josh had not shown me certain proofs I would not be as openly supportive.

Josh mentioned, specifically, Walmart, Amazon, and possibly Target

This specific quote seems to have been in one of the comments, because if you search it in Google it continues with

"Josh mentioned, specifically, Walmart, Amazon, and possibly Target and Macy's as partners of this coin. Why are we seeing nothing of these..."

So someone called him out and that comment was likely deleted.
