It literally takes 15-20 seconds to create an account on hashtalk for post viewing purposes only.  use a fake email address and don't confirm your email.  that allows you to view posts.    Use random usernames as well.  You are registering at the site of a fraudster after all.

People shouldn't expect others to archive hashtalk pages for their convenience because they don't want to spent 20 seconds creating an account.

they aren't using their money to pump, that's the beauty of this scam. They say they will announce something, idiots pump up the price, GAW dumps. Rinse, repeat. It's been going on for months.

In a traditional pump and dump you need to spend some money to pump up the price and get the coins to dump, but they have coins to dump and idiots to raise the price for them.

Yawn. Still doesnt matter, of course they can dump for free, but the pumping part is not done with XPY, you cant buy XPY with XPY, you need fiat or bitcoins to pump. So the question remains open if they are getting more fiat/btc out than they are pumping in, or if you prefer, more than they would if they just dumped their XPY stash.

You just assume this to be the case, but it requires the "idiots" to keep pouring in fresh money (not XPY) and its not at all obvious if that is happening, for sure the price doesnt tell you that.

That's the foundations absolute priority - at least that's what they said last week.  Turning off that error message and fixing the wallet so it downloads more than 500 blocks before stopping.

I'm sure they have their whole team on it - all hands on deck.  They add up to about 8 lines of fixes - maybe they'll be done in time to announce the fixes as "new features" for an April 1st pump

I tried via Tor and got IP-banned almost instantly. Not sure if they now ban all Tor exit nodes but I'm sure as hell not going to try from my real IP Smiley

Anyway, archiving is not just for lazy-ass trolls like myself but might be useful for other purposes too. So if someone has a way around this block - please do archive if you can.

I will have to discuss terms with my agent for any material they wish to use.  Roll Eyes

Why buy PayCoin for a ridiculously expensive price when PayCon is 100X better than PayCoin and has cost less than $500 to make including all Development and Marketing in the entire life of PayCon.

Have a PayCoin CashTaker giving you trouble? in PayCon everyone gets 350% per year, plus the network Fees

Tired of Hyper-Inflation driving PayCoin to 0? PayCon pays 30 CON every POS Block which gives it a steady rate of inflation per year

Sick of devs promising the world and delivering nothing? PayCon promises nothing and has delivered over 30 groundbreaking commits with the recent addition of more than a dozen new features, ahead of schedule with multiple skilled developers backing the Coin.

Tired of ICO? PayCon has been built from the ground up with a fair launch, no ICO/IPO and a ridiculously small market cap of less than 10k USD

Posting on HashTalk but not sure if your opinion is being heard? PayCon is completely unmoderated and uncensored

They tried the worst and we made the best, why settle when you can CON with the rest?

Paycon [CON] - We Don't Deny It.

March 14, 2015
Mandatory Update/New features

Along with CON for charity comes nearly a dozen RPC calls (help items), some new icons, Y U no guy added back to the statistics page, better Stake time estimation, sorting of transactions by weight in Coin Control, checkwallet and repairwallet added to tools, ability to set your own Stake split thresholds, increased minimum Fee to 0.05 Coins per transaction/combine. This is a softfork where the new fees will be effective immediately but lower fees will begin to take longer to process until old clients are rejected from the network 03/23/2015 @ 12:00am (UTC)

All fees are paid to Stakers which increases the Proof of Stake Block rewards

I need to raise 0.7 btc immediately for a large update, if I can gather the amount by Friday, it will be finished by Sunday. Some people just add 1 feature, I've got 10 and need to recoup costs spent on bringing you the best crypto currency and industry leading technology. There was no ICO and I took over this project, please help support me financially so that I can continue building you a for-profit, multi-million dollar asset.

RPC calls (command line help items)

getmoneysupply (nHeight)  - view the money supply by blockheight
moneysupply - view money supply growth information.
setstakesplitthreshold -  set your stake split threshold and gain more stake
getstakesplitthreshold -  view your threshold limit
addnode - add nodes on the command line
getaddednodeinfo - information about added nodes
rescanfromblock (nheight)  - rescan backups from a certain height
deleteaddress - delete old addresses
stakeforcharity - Set a percent of your stake to be sent automatically to any address

Bug fixes and improvements

Gui Features for CON for Charity
Checkwallet and Repairwallet added to tools along with orphan removal
Added blocks by weight to coin control
Better stake estimation
Fix of volume in statistics to read as accurate money supply
Windows and Mac wallet rebuilds

Minimum fee will be increased to 0.05 Coins per transaction and this will require a hardfork. This change will make it comparatively expensive to send and all fees are paid to Stakers which increases the Proof of Stake Block rewards.

What is the exact date of end of 3 month Cashtakers? Next Saturday? Anybody know roughly what the number of XPY that are going to hit the market then? I have heard 1,000,000 + but not sure how that number was arrived at. Seems like this latest weekend pump might be the last one before a major price slide occurs when people make for the exits as their coins are released from captivity.

P.S: Many thumbs up Crestington, great work on Paycon. I need to get me some.

All of my posts are simply statements of my own personal opinions based on available information and pondering what might be possible considering human nature, with the goal of finding truth and preventing fraud. ~6 days left, so I'd say Friday-ish. Depends on when most users put the coins in though, it could be spread over a few days.

If any of the beliebers who are hodling XPY have a lick of sense there should be some massive selling in the next few days in anticipation of the dumpage that will occur. Right now would make the most sense IMO, in light of this latest pump, which will frizzle away during the week. Common sense says that there will be a pretty major price slide, so the smart move for a bagholder (the ones expecting XPY to moon) would be to sell off and then re-buy after the price slide. If there is no price slide you did not lose out because you could just re-buy.

Edit to add: Not that I think logic and common sense are in great abundance in the remaining Paycoin belieber crowd. Obviously anyone with a decent amount of either of those attributes has already bailed from the turdwagon.

P.S: I am expecting some "major announcement" from Josh&Co to try to counter the dumpage. Maybe a Nuclear Powered Tunnel Boring Machine with a TeamXPY emblem on it or such....

I am going to stick my neck out here and declare that Josh will dream up some bullshit reason/bug/hack for continuing to hold the paycoins hostage.  He will declare to the hashtards that they are working to resolve the problems and they will all publicly praise Gawd for doing his best to sort the problem out.

There is no way Garza is sacrificing this cash cow anytime soon.

Quite possible. It's also possible that impact is not as large as Paul mentioned above. 90-day hashstakers cost $10, 180-day cost $19, so whoever bought them at retail probably chose 180-day ones. That leaves conversions from non-Prime and non-Zen hashlets. Not sure how many of those they had, but likely a lot less than 1 million.

Also the Market was available for a few weeks so those who wanted to get rid of the cashtakers already had a chance to do that, and those who bought them are probably less likely to dump the coins.

But even if it's "just" 50k or 100k it would still have a huge impact on the thin market. So yeah, an obstacle of some sort would make sense.
