That's because these fucking muggles are seriously using some shared hosting bullshit.

Why would they use anything else for a site that gets maybe a handful of visitors per day?  Grin

Can someone with one of those newfangled twitter things ask @bitcoinist @btc_com what's going on with their $1-million domain?

Gee whiz, poor bitcoinist could have never seen this one coming, just another victim of Mr. Ganza.  OR maybe they could have looked at the MOUNTAINS OF EVIDENCE COMPILED IN THIS THREAD AND DECIDED NOT TO GET INTO BUSINESS WITH A SOCIOPATH?

Honestly, I'm inclined to think that anyone who voluntarily gets involved with Garza at this stage with all the evidence that's openly and easily available to research needs their head examined. Astonishingly stupid.

So basically they are paying money to garza who is paying it to domain guardians.  How long before garza just starts pocketing the money and not paying the bill and claims someone stole the money?

What chapter is this now?

Well got most of it.  Just need garza to claim the money for the payment was stolen.........

Buy now , and got  profit  . i suggest for all people in here , ALL in your btc for buy XPY .. got proft and we can rich

Not exactly, buy CON, not XPY. XPY is dead and CON is the future. All sheeps from hashtalk please dump your Paycoins and buy Paycons - that's the right thing to do given the current circumstances. Even Homero Ganza will approve that, cause he knows it's over.

One can only assume any potential partners are astonishingly stupid or sociopathic serial scammers as well.

No one could have predicted this

Adam Matlack 1/5/2014: "Not but 30 seconds later, the Holy Spirit slapped me upside the head and said "what are you thinkin'? What are you doin'?" It was an emphatic "NO". And I got - just guilt started to cover me"

He should team up with Al Gore. After all Al created the Internet.
[false] http://www.snopes.com/quotes/internet.asp

Hardly false. He says it right in the video.

I didn't hear Al say "he created the internet"

He said "I took the initiative in creating the internet" in regards to his involvement with previous policy that created what we now call the internet... but you disregard the context.

anyway, great news!

This dog is hunting! time to buy in... /jk

I think we should all quote the post where we predicted exactly what just happened with btc.com.

Mine:

2018 is way out of Garza's time horizon. He's the guy who scrapped the original Paycoin idea for a crappy clone because he wanted it out in two weeks.

BOLD PREDICTION

The lease involved some sort of deposit. Garza will immediately cease paying for the domain and attempt to string along the seller for as long as possible. During this time, Garza still collects rent. At some point, the domain reverts back to its previous owner, and bitcoinist is out that month's rent and the original deposit.

And another company shoots themselves in the foot by getting involved with Garza.

why on earth would they think Garza wasn't going to fuck them over after their previous attempt and everyone else he's fucked over?

I sort of wish I was a big enough asshole to take some of the money these geniuses are just giving away, it's amazing.

Which idea is stupider? Getting in bed with Garza, or getting inspiration from licensing one of the industry's (not industries bitcoinist, maybe spend the money you aren't giving Garza on a copy editor?) "most expensive domains."

PayCon has it's own entire section on the GetHashing forums, I'm even a made-mod now on Cryptoplays and can shadowban people! Let the Shadowbanning begin! PayCon is also now part of the Stakeminers pool and Github has been very active recently. Gawd created irony for a reason and for that reason alone PayCon will sweep the world, I guarantee it Wink
