Too much wild speculation and hate here, why? However, and I am not a GAW fanboy, the idea behind Paycoin is great! Now its his turn, to keep his promises and convince the community and all its haters! Just the future will show...

I like how price and profit are guaranteed. Staking nets 400% apy. And Amazon will accept it. There's 0 risk. Any money you put in will at least quadruple. Bitcoin isn't viable of course.

TEK is 500% And you can spend it on Mars. Sweet, any chance to lose, I mean divest of my bitcoins. Ill be getting rid of my Bitcoin for paycoin, Litecoin, dogecoin, darkcoin, bitshares, quarkcoin, maxcoin, primecoin, bbqcoin, nxt, monero, stealth, stellar, ripple, apptokens, androidtokens, foodcoin, black, cloak, vericoin and Bitcoindark. Gotta "diversify" my losses. Aka everyday there's a new coin, gotta take my losses from now to the other shitcoin, I mean innovation. No commitment for me, just looking for the next shitcoin. I forgot to save investments for boolberry, peercoin, ducknote, 420, xxxcoin, sexcoin, via coin, shadow coin, fibre, redd, neos, ethereum, cannabis, feather, key coin, world coin, potcoin and bytecoin. Shitcoin likes it's 2011.

And wording of that tweet is vague, it doesn't say Authy confirmed anything, just that "reached out to help confirm". Hopefully their help will be along the lines of "here's contact info for CEX and Coinbase, give them a call" If I was a high-profle client like CEX or Coinbase and I heard that one of our vendors for security was going around telling other clients how we are being outperformed like that I would be pretty pissed. Especially in public and would strongly consider taking my business elsewhere to a place that doesn't have such loose lips about our business with them. Someone in our irc also emailed authy on dates listed, customer service and engineer support, same answer you got, sorry we did not show it b4 on here or reddit. Thank you for being the best keeping us up to date with what is going on with companies and crypto currency. If these statements are true, as a user of Authy, I find it very disturbing. Be sure to email them and make them aware of that.

TEK is 500% And you can spend it on Mars. But does it have a snazzy website that sells temporary wallets for $17.95? Yeah, thought so. Not viable.

rootduds media blitz? Reddit users have archived over 160 pages after homer attacked Coinfire. Word is, today is Media Blitz day... Troll Hunters Unite! Well, guys, it's looking like today is the day that most of the media tour articles are due to be posted, and you all know what that means - the trolls will be out from under their bridges and rocks, crawling out of caves, all to grab a few seconds of fame trying to spread their FUD. Troll hunters - it's open season. Let's see what we can do to balance out the BS and help boost Paycoin as best we can. It'll take some effort, but labours of love are definitely worth it - form up and post threads you see in the news and let's do our best to spread the education around. @Daffy @Allen1980s @Diggio @PCfan @tankjnr @cyberlizard @redacted @InsaneMiner @quigley @DirtFighter @BitJane @gava and the rest of the community - this is a call to arms! Remember, keep emotion out of it, make your points in a level headed fashion and don't allow yourself to get sucked into name calling. This is about educating people and dispelling fear, uncertainty and doubt for the world that's going to learn about our bridge to the future today. Let's give them a positive first experience! EDIT - update this thread when you find an article or release and I'll keep the OP updated throughout the day. PM me so I can keep the thread and URL's up to date please. URL's: StreetInsider - thanks @Pryderi Yahoo Finance - thanks @pryderi Sys-Con Media - thanks @Gava Payment Eye - thanks @Allen1980s Holy Nerdvana - thanks @Allen1980s MarketWatch - thanks @Allen1980s MarketWired - thanks @gava BitcoinDailyHerald - thanks @scotterdu Virtual Strategies - thanks @Izerian

There's a HUGE amount of risk. I'm not saying it won't work, but there are roughly a gazillion ways it could fail. What if more people try to divest than the support fund can handle? What if Amazon doesn't really take it directly? What if no merchants ever want to keep the coin, despite its price support? What if the technology isn't functional? What if the support fund isn't appropriately separated from the rest of GAW's finances? What if the wallet is hard to use? What if the payment mechanism is hard to use? What if no one ever hears about it outside of the insular crypto community? What if GAW loses the bids and doesn't have a Prime Controller? What if there's an attack on the Prime Controllers that succeeds? Gosh, I can think of about a million others, too. The risk is high here, but so is the reward. Such is crypto.

I was under the impression that Amazon denied having anything to do with paycoin, and threatened to sue if Josh even implied that they did.
