Do not like the design of the forum. Forum "does not work" in browsers with adblock. Let's buy a license IPB leave the standard design and change the logo. In addition, we need to make a normal website. We can take wordpress and buy / order / make a normal design. Also, needs to be done "HOWTO" wiki. It is important to translate the site into different languages. Total, we need 175$ for a license IPB. And about 50~200$ on the design for the home page. I can offer free hosting for the site, forum, wiki and explorer. Also, I am ready to become a part of the team vertcoin. |

I can offer free hosting for the site, forum, wiki and explorer. Also, I am ready to become a part of the team vertcoin. I'm going to test it with adblock in the next couple of days. PhpBB is just as good as IPB these days, and once the adblock issue is sorted - the forum design itself I find very easy to use as do others. What it needs is more users posting and threads going on. I've disabled the "nicescroll" stuff that means it should work on more browsers. Otherwise *there is no advertising on the site* so you can disable adblock for the domain. I'll be interested to see what adblock is doing and what its blocking. UPDATEOn chrome adblock:  No issues at all. Which browser are you using? |

Maybe its some other extension that's causing you the issues - as you can see from the imgur screenshot above, adblock functions fine on the site. |

Well, it wasn't set up for HTTPS originally. It is now. I've tested it and it seems to load now. Let me knwo if its working for you (you may need to clear the cache of the site first tho however or something) |

What's your problem with the current website? It already is wordpress FYI. Also, needs to be done "HOWTO" wiki.
I agree, there is a great wiki on Reddit that remains unupdated for Lyra2RE, I hope some people will step up and get it updated. Also, I am ready to become a part of the team vertcoin.

jamesl22, I know that the site is powered by wordpress. Design terrible. Just look at these careless icons.  Or take a look at this logo.  I like the design of sites: darkcoin, dogecoin or even litecoin. For example darcoin use this theme. And it looks pretty good. http://themeforest.net/item/sterling-responsive-wordpress-theme/2320578We need not wiki on reddit, but a normal wiki on wikimedia. Again, we need to translate site and wiki in different languages. I think the forum is still better to do on IPB. At the moment I'm helping with PR in runet. It's not an official site in any capacity... call me oldskool but I prefer funtionality and content over glitz and glammer. |

Getting a mediawiki is something I'll look in to. phpBB seems to be working just fine, a paid forum is not necessary, if anything I'd try out SMF first. I think we're good for hosting and servers right now but if that changes I'll know where to go  . If you can do php code get on Taiga (the project manager) and coordinate with the people who are working on a VTC payment gateway, I'm sure they'd appreciate your input. |

Poiuty - I prefer PhpBB to the commercial IPB, and the theme is a very well designed theme from ThemeForest that I purchased myself http://themeforest.net/item/wide-phpbb3-theme-with-control-panel/7949289As for the vertcoin website, I like the parallax scrolling of it. The logo won't change (I recommended a new one months ago but there is no reason to change the logo), I also recommended dropping "Coin" - as well, its not a "coin" ---------------- new topic: Vertcoin as an unlinked currency |
